Anthriscus sylvestris
Plant of the Day
Wednesday 27 May 2020
The Anthriscus sylvestris (cow parsley, wild chervil, wild beaked parsley, keck, Queen Anne’s lace) is forming foaming mounds from the umbrella-like clusters of white flowers along hedgerows, woodland edges and roadsides. The plant is a biennial or short-lived perennial and can be invasive thriving in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
