You people are enabling my hater tendencies I am trying to be kind unfortunately I am not so it takes very little to get me going lmao. For context, this is about the wish that there were one long ongoing where all the dc characters I wholeheartedly hate teamed up and fought eachother. The goal is to have one single title that I can easily ignore so that I never have to read them and meanwhile fans get regular apparitions in a very long ongoing and get to enjoy stories with them and that way everyone is happy.

Okay so, Steve Tre-vore is already there, we also get:

-🏏man: he was cruel to just about every character I like that I can think of (except like, Jill Nubia Artemis Hera Hippolyta etc. but that's logical cause they haven't fucking met) but also and more importantly I genuinely believe he's not good for dc stories (there's a post that explains it better).

-Garfiekld Lowgan: look. I've been told there are some stories in which he is not a gross infuriating sex pest. I truly believe it! I bet there are excellent reasons to love the guy. They're just. Not any of the stuff I have read so far and at some point after a first, second, sixth impression, you gotta be allowed to hate a character.

-Victor 🥶 : I hate his concept and find that the execution, far from salvaging it, is often deeply boring. I was extremely surprised when I found out he wasn't at the origin of the word "fridging"- to me he is to fridging what Nightwing Brothers in Blood is to the demonization of mentally ill people. Like, there's certainly stories that do it worse, but not many that get this literal about it.

-Dr 💡: I don't think I've been critical enough of Heading into the Light and the Mia joins the titans arcs recently. In case it wasn't clear, fuck those- and fuck dr rapist mcrapist who spends his time bragging about how fun rape is i'll kill you i'll kill you i'll kill you

-Dr Hugo S trange: he's not just bad at his job he also gives me psychoanalysis vibes which is about as annoying as a guy can get.

-dr' psych o: sorry Wonder Woman, the 1987 run with Veronica Cale was great but dr psych o really isn't it. Even the name is wrong.

-bane: of my existence.

-how could I forcet Al.fred? I think he has a lot of fans who would enjoy see him taking a more active role and fighting bad guys, and he would make a great addition to that team! For anyone who is wondering "but glitter, didn't you say that you don't really see him as a character because you view him more as a writer-insert/voice of the narrative?" I still stand by that! It's just that sometimes I think the narrative could stand to shut the fuck up.

AMBIGUOUS CATEGORY:

-tecnically Jok er should definitely be in that ongoing because he fits the requirements perfectly, however if I had enough power in dc to make that happen I would simply kill and erase him from every universe and only rarely use his memory if I ever need to make a meta point about sanist caricatures at most, so he wouldn't fit well in here.

-Sl ade Willson is another interesting one because on the one hand, I love Rose and Tara and I think their storylines still can use some kind of development and conclusion to the weight he has in their lives, and I really like there being a character who is a pedocriminal but not a pedophile in comics (i should make a post explaining why that's important someday)- it was written accidentally by shit writers but it's still something I find very useful and we need more of in fiction. For these reasons, he should be starkly in the "love to hate him" category. Unfortunately he also very frequently annoys me.

-in all honestly 🏏man should be in the same category as Slad.e, it's just that modern B annoys me so muuuch

Well that would be almost exactly what happens tbh 🤭 i hate him. Every time someone uses raven for his propaganda I seethe. Raven deserves so much better than him. Not to mention Tara because I'll explode. Dc should kill him pretty please 🙏
