I'll never understand the way that anti-shippers in the Venture Brothers fandom treat Pete and Billy like it's okay for them to be a couple, when Pete and Billy met when Pete was in his 20's and Billy was a TEENAGER? He was only fifteen years old. So, an eight year age gap, *and* Pete met Billy when Billy was underage and you eat that shit up with a spoon??? please and as a side note, can we talk about how weird Hatred is to Billy and how none of the antis have an issue with that either?

Seeing in the Oliver Stark tag, the anti bucktommy are trying to say the bucktommy shippers are angry and sending hate to him. They say we attack him, when they kept sending death threats to Lou for so long. The terrible handling of the past episode when Oliver basically did a 180 on wanting to do good bi rep and be similar to Tarlos.

Oliver wanting Buck to be orginal Buck but with men and women. That’s a terrible bisexual stereotype and yet he is excited about it? That’s basically saying and showing the general audiences that’s what being bisexual is all about. It’s in poor taste.

When actual bisexuals raise their concerns, you antis think we are attacking him. Oliver try to double down and defend his poor words. If the roles were reversed and stark played a gay character and reinforce toxic gay stereotypes, wouldn’t you be upset as well?

While the so called Olver Stan’s ignore the fact. We have Lou here who never played this type of role before, went full and played and did his best rep of an older gay man. Which by a lot of people in audience feel seen. Yet because his character is. Or the gay rep the antis want. Lou in there twisted vision is bad and send him shit and death threats

Lou is not the first of actors who played Bucks love interest who got attacked. How many times has Buck had a love interest? How many have been perceived in the way of buddie. How many times these actors who played them get attacked? All of them.

Has Stark do anything to defend. Did the production team. Once again they did not. They stayed silent and inaction is more damning than anything. Yes we are upset with bucktommy. But we are more upset the Tim and Oliver keeps quiet and reinforces toxic bisexual stereotype and tries to offer a “sorry not sorry apology.”

Are we disappointed yes. But are we sending him death threats. No and that’s huge point of difference .

I'm too busy with school and my job to attempt any form of communication with 9-1-1 cast members so I don't understand why you would send this to me about sending death threats. If you could spell out the point of your wall of text, that would be great because I have class in the morning.(like I'm honestly so lost right now.)

Yanno if anti’s would learn to actually block & filter instead of watering down terms that don’t define a proshipper? Seriously, we going through this again? Said it before & I’ll say it again, anti’s are a full headache.

I'm tired of seeing the same takes over and over and over again. "Billy would call Eddie a slur" bitch stop why is Billy the one dropping slurs while we have Steve that dropped the q word on Jonathan and Neil the f word on Billy, gosh. (I love Steve btw so I don't want to throw him under the bus but damn these antis....get a life or rewatch the show)

The thing that bothers me the most (and I happen to have an anti in my inbox right now saying it) is "you only like Billy because he's hot."

I'm still deliberating on whether or not to answer it because it does warrant a very useful character analysis. But first I'll hang on my inversion table, drink my tea, and pet my cat before I decide. By then I might not care.

Sometimes I worry that I’m being to hard on anti’s when I call them liars. And then I see this:

Regardless of how one personally feels about SessRin as a pairing. This is obviously a lie. We haven’t even seen them kiss. But were supposed to believe she’s a sex slave to Sesshomaru? I hope this person realizes that erotic fanfiction ain’t cannon. How are shippers supposed to take anti’s seriously when they tells lies this obvious.

a message about anti’s

Sorry about the wording I wrote this as blogging example for a class but I felt it needed to be posed to. 

Anti's refers to a person on the internet who goes out of their way to harass someone that enjoys something they don't. Plain and simple. That being said not liking something does not make you an anti. It's ok not to like something because you don't see it happening or If the particular thing is triggering. That’s why there’s tag blocks and blog blocks. If someone posts nothing but that content block them. It's easy. That’s just part of being in a community with various different minded people. Or a fandom if you wanna call it, an appropriation for a show, movie, comic, game. 

But an Anti as stated is someone that will yell and plot against people who enjoy certain aspects of the created community. For this I will present the case of babyCharmanderK, online handler. This person belongs to the undertale fandom and is known for creating content with frisk, a little girl with an unclear age. And Sans, an undefined aged skeleton. Frankly they ship the two characters together, drawing them as a couple. About three years ago they went to a convention to sell off their art and spread their personal shop around. During the event a fake fan an anti gave them a cookie. Inside was a few small needles. This person had to go to emergency and the reasoning was because someone did not like that they shipped frisk and sans, viewed them as a couple and created content based on that. 

This is not ok. It's fine if you don't like something but there is no reason to send death threats, harass, and potently kill someone because they enjoy something you are against. That is an anti. Dangerous, hateful people that believe their values are the only ones that should be fallowed and everyone else is garbage or wrong. The reason for this rant/ artical. Is a warning, please be aware of these people in all the fandoms you join and are currently in. Be safe out there. Thank you.
