Harry to HR: Why are you still here?!?

I understand where you're coming from with the HR vs Harry thing but you can't deny that hr is like. highly coded as racist and classist considering the fact that he consistently mispronounces Cisco's name, made Cisco say that he had a rough childhood in the hologram when afawk that's not true, etc. (that's not to say that Harry is coded as racist either, bc he definitely is, but...)
under a read more.
The most astonishing thing this episode did was make HR mildly bearable for most of his scenes. Although that whole thing about writing a Flash soap opera and broadcasting it, even if he did get the lustrous locks right, is just Shady McShadersons. Star Labs deserves a cut of the royalties.
Introduce yourself to the best HR LADY, Bald Girl Will Travel. She feels that HR actually should be there to support and protect employees and she will be helping you with that. To know more visit: https://bit.ly/3CRXpQK
Anne Marie | Introduction Of Anti - HR, HR Lady
Bald Girl Will Travel is here to introduce you with the HR Lady. She's been refocusing the BaldGirlWillTravel brand on my love for solo travel as a 50+-year-old black woman. Also, she will be using that platform and my new Facebook group to encourage more women 40 and over to embrace solo travel. When she worked in HR every day she always saw herself as the anti-HR HR lady because she always felt that HR actually should be there to support and protect employees. But over time it became clear to her that as long as she was working inside HR she will never be able to meet that goal. HR is not your enemy but they are definitely not your friends. They don’t exist to protect you. We must understand how to use human resources to further your career development interest. Understanding how to interact with HR and your manager will position you to get whatever it is that you need at work. To get more information about this kindly visit our website.
HR gets more and more annoying with each episode. I feel like the writers don't what to do with him, so they're trying too hard to make him seem relevant. How does Cisco not vibe his ass to another dimension, I would have no hair left if he was around me 24/7.
Contrary to popular belief I don’t actually write for the flash so i mean like what are you sending me this for like what exactly am i meant to say to this, ‘cisco ramon is clearly a better person than we are’ i mean. I’m happy to talk with messaging but this is. Confusing. What are you doing here and what am I meant do do here. agree? sympathize? cuz i mean. I think he’s getting marginally better rather than steadily worse, frankly, and he really didn’t bother me last episode except that I would have preferred he have fewer scenes, but this is? kind of the role I wanted for him? someone who takes a different approach bc team flash always goes at things the same way and anyway whatever but like u don’t seem to want a conversation and tbh pls don’t do this in the future? like for everyone, unless it’s a character I’ve previously extensively ragged on (Cold and Harry are. kinda it.) don’t just drop something like this in my inbox it makes me hella uncomfortable.
Two things, because responding to out of context things on my dash is what I’m doing instead of watching the ep:
1. DO NOT LET HR MENTOR WALLY WHAT THE HELL he is a proven manipulator who goes out of his way to take credit for shit he did not do. He does not need his hooks in a precious newborn hero.
2. .....like? Is there any reason Cisco should trust Barry rn?
He tried to hide Flashpoint from them and only confessed under duress. He kept Wally’s powers a secret long after it had begun to hurt Wally. He kept the truth about Dante from Cisco. Matter fact he told SOMEONE ELSE about it who then told Cisco and made Barry have to fess up all the way. Cisco (apparently) is the only reason why Barry told other people who were heavily affected by Flashpoint (IE Digg) about what he did.
Like. Why the hell would Cisco not think Barry is hiding a thousand more things he doesn’t want anyone to know about? What’s the precedent for trust here?
I don't think H.R. had some secret shady reason to urge Caitlin to use her powers. It's possible that he's in some way dishonest, because although I do think he offers a measure of help (like suggesting the tracking method for Captain Cold might work with Caitlin, an idea that might have otherwise taken the team longer to come up with), he's so far only been a prop for some mini-drama in 3x07, and beyond that just plain comic relief. But I don't think he had ulterior motives with Caitlin there.
That’s fair enough, and with some more thought, I can admit that he has been mildly useful on a few occasions.
I guess I wanted to come up with a narrative reason why the hell this character even exists. His introduction was illogical and pointless (”we gotta have a Harry Wells” - what??), his function so far has been mostly to be self-centered and clownish, and he doesn’t really seem to be doing anything but hanging around the edges of the storylines. He’s not bringing anything fresh or interesting to the team or the show.
