I haven't been posting about this, mostly because it's a bit of fun I'm having with myself and that's about it. But I'm three chapters in and got a lot more written, and I'm just having fun playing with Adam and Josh.

I'm in a real Flash moment right now. By which I mean I'm watching some specially picked scenes on Youtube and rereading old fave fics.

So. I might post the next chapter of Something In My Heart ten years later. If anyone is looking forward to that?

Given the size of the gulf in the fandom rn, this may seem kind of silly, but...

But what do you mean, Mary the mother of Jesus isn't in Heaven? Or the apostles? What do you mean, 'sorry, Josh, they're dead. Long gone.' You're literally in HEAVEN. We know Nazis go right to hell, you're telling me Mary the mother of Jesus didn't make the cut to Heaven? Are any humans in Heaven? What's the fucking point of Heaven?

The only Good Omens meta I've got in me.

You know why I like the ending? Because they've effectively switched places. Unlike the two seasons before, Aziraphale only wants one thing now: Crowley. And Crowley is ready to stop running and give his own desires up for humanity. They're each where the other one was at the middle of season one, and the end of season two.

Like I really get wanting them, as them, to have a happy ending. But that was it. They finally chose. Aziraphale chose Crowley, Crowley chose humanity, knowing that it was always Aziraphale's choice too, and Aziraphale chose to go along 100% with Crowley's wish because it was now Crowley's wish too.

The hand holding and kisses and growing old in the South Downs, as Crowley and Aziraphale, would have felt anticlimactic to me.

Asa and Anthony, though, reiterate the idea that their souls find each other in whatever form. And that's lovely. It may have nothing to do with Aziracrow, essentially, but I'd rather we have that than not have it.

So, yeah, I think it was a p good ending.

(For the record, though, there were SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES for them to kiss in the bookshop and the bookshop/garden. That definitely should have happened.)

((Also I am ready for the Josh/Adam fics. Please. I'm working on my novel rn, I can't dedicate enough time, someone please write it. ))

So I'm super into IWTV right now, but it's in this weird, great way where I adore the show, I'm watching it more than once, but I have no desire to read the source material (Anne Rice was an anti-fandom pos and it's way too verbose for my dumb ass) and I don't really need to dive into fic. After not writing fanfic in ages and ages I am feverishly working on an ATLA Pride and Prejudice fusion set in the modern world of drag and gay bars. Zukka, of course. I'm having a ball writing it. Might start posting soon, but I suspect this is for nobody but me.
