I got a new binder!!! It’s from Spectrum Outfitters, which is a UK company with free (fast) UK shipping, and it’s amazing! I haven’t been this flat since I was about 12.

Most other binders I’ve seen are geared towards small skinny boys and I am not small or skinny so I was kind of at a loss.

Basically binders are often designed to make your tiddies look like pecs but in some people (like me!) it just makes it look like you have slightly smaller tiddies, which isn’t great for passing or euphoria. I spent a many great hours trying to make myself flatter in my first binder because I didn’t want anybody at this club I went to to know I was trans.

I’m a 38E and honestly binding is HARD. I’ve been using the same gc2b binder (no shade on them!) for the past four years and it no longer fits me.

Essentially, I love gc2b but their shipping costs are expensive if you live outside of the US. I think they maybe have an EU shipping thing now but I haven’t tried it. Totally recommend for people who are buying their first binder or who have smaller tiddies.

I wasn’t able to find any reviews for binders that work well for plus size people (except for Shapeshifters, who do amazing custom binders but are currently not taking new requests due to Covid). A lot of what I found was stuff like “I have a B cup and it binded fine” which is great if you have a B cup but I don’t, so I was kind of skeptical buying from Spectrum for the first time but it’s honestly amazing and I cannot recommend it enough.

You do not get to decide whether or not you just misgendered someone. You can say “but they’re CIS so I CAN’T misgender them,” but the thing is they literally just told you they’re not cis.

Whether or not they have dysphoria doesn’t matter. It’s actually none of your business. It’s rude as fuck to go around and ask about diagnoses. You don’t ask random people whether or not they have bipolar disorder, so why do you ask random people if they have gender dysphoria? There’s no difference.

If you purposely misgender a transgender person, especially when they have told you they’re not cis, you’re transphobic.
