Anti-Covid folks will tell us that all the different changes have been placed out of fear. Fear is selfish and dangerous. That we should not be making decisions out of fear. That we need to be the bigger person and get over our fears by getting rid of the measures we have made to slow the spread of Covid.

May I reintroduce Anti-Covids to the word:

Concern

To give a threat or problem proper attention and address

"I am concerned about getting in a car crash, or falling off a cliff, or a sick child"

I am not afraid of Covid. I am concerned about covid. I recognize the major threat and problem that is Covid-19 and I will address and prepare against it the best I can. You don't make fun of people for buckling in a car because they're concerned of injury occurring during a crash. You don't make fun of someone maintaining cleanliness via mask and hand washing because they're concerned for themselves and others getting sick. I'm not afraid. I'm not. I'm concerned. I think the majority of people make the decision they have against covid out of concern NOT fear.
