Shifting HAS proof! It's called experience and multiverse theory. Fanfic people DNI because FICTION ISN'T REAL. I only believe in things that exist and are tangibly real, you can know things are real through experience. The shifting community PROVES shifting is real. My stupid Christian parents had an intervention for my brother Barry like two weeks ago, and my aunt Tiffany and uncle Vinny were there (also Christians), and they told my brother he needs to embrace Jesus to solve his addiction issues. I was so livid, I got up and told him he's an idiot for smoking crack and news flash, God isnt fucking real! Everyone started yelling at me, so I flipped my middle finger at them and told them religion was the opiate of the masses. If God was real he wouldn't let crack exist! Hello?? My parents finally forced me to become employed (there is no respect in this culture for a life of self-directed learning unencumbered by a means of providing profit for private enterprise) and I got a job at Trader Joe's. There's this really cute guy I work with named Aaron. Would it be unethical for me to shift to a universe where we're in love? Also, I think I saw him wear a cross once and that's a deal breaker. Maybe in another universe he's an atheist like me. Should I ask him?

Also a few days ago he took off his jacket in the break room and it smelled really good. I am forsaking my logic and rationale for the vulgar desires of the body. It isn't logical for me to feel such a burning desire!! It's wrong. I must resist for rationality's sake.

Shipping is inherently immoral because they're real in another reality and they can't consent

Hypothetically speaking if fictional universes were part of the multiverse, including fanfiction, then yes, it would be immoral to write fanfiction shipping. However, I have yet to actually encounter in any reality a fictional character (besides the Christian god, haha), so I am agnostic to fictitious persons existing in the multiverse, apart from Shadow the Hedgehog, whom I have met and conversed with about ethics and philosophy. Shadow is somewhere between Kierkegaard and Nietzsche, which of course did not mix with my logical positivism. Thankfully, we both agreed there is no god.

Last night I shifted to a universe where I could see without glasses but the god of that universe got so mad at me for being in their universe that they moved my glasses in my world so I had to spend 20 minutes looking for them. Fuck gods

Was it a mortal god? We need to start using our shifting powers to liberate the people of these universes from false deities, so they can make their own decisions. Personally, I am only really comfortable killing Christian gods, as any other might come off as me imposing Eurocentric and colonialist concepts on the multiverse.

You may have shifted to a reality with elves as well - elves are well known for hiding every day objects including glasses. Did you get communication from the god(s) of this universe telling you they did it?
