Feeling Blue* 

Shiny nose, twinkling cheeks and a glossy brow are never a good thing on camera. When you hear ‘checks’ and all you can see is a shining beacon of light on screen you rush in with whatever you can to blot, blot and blot again to remove the excess grease and grime. 

Having tried several blotting papers from your very well priced ‘Kleenex Blotting Papers’ (roughly £3.00) to a mid range ‘Nurturing Force Blotting Paper Roll’ (£11.95) I thought I had found the limit when it came to the blot busting power of those papers...well how wrong I was!

Not being an overly active shopper in MAC except for their wonderful empty palettes and the likes, I had never seen these blue blotting beauties until working on set with a wonderful Make-up Artist who showed me how not to be blue about blotting! 

They are simply the Rolls-Royce of the Anti Shine world, they really do wick away that glimmer and shimmer but do not take off the make-up underneath-at all- which I have to say is a first! The paper goes from blue to clear when alll your shine has dissapeared. 

They are not the cheapest (12.00)I have to say but sometimes you do get what you pay for. 

Feeling blue? Not always a bad thing! 

They can be bought at any MAC Store, not necessarily Pro Store.
