Seriously though, why do you think that's gross? I do understand feeling icky with incest / ships that involve family power imbalance. But unless it's an AU in which Spitfire and Aftermath also got adopted by the Maltos, they are literally just peers from different families. And if both being born from the same artifact means they are blood family, all Cybertronians would be blood family since they are all born from the Allspark.
I know Nightshade kept going "Chaos Terrans are family" and the Terrans kept calling Terratronus their big sister, but it's very common to call people of your race "brothers" "sisters" (especially when your race is not the dominant one in your area).
Oh in addition, Terrans and Chaos Terrans don't share psychic links.
(And while I don't post about it here, I do ship the Terrans together too :D I hope that makes you feel relatively better about Terrans and Chaos Terrans being shipped together, like it's not the worst that can happen.)
