There are so much proof of Tyra making everything about her but I have to the one that annoys me the most was her being in everyone's song in Cycle 17

I personally loved the all star cycle, it got me back into antm, but although id watched the show before the only one I knew was Kayla, which was probably why. I wasn't really a fan before

I feel like Cycle 17 could have been really good, but it was so poorly executed and i hated it. I cry every time i think about Allison being runner up again though.

There was nothing they could do about C17. Any model with a decent career would not come back to ANTM in their right mind, so we got who we got. And making an all-star cycle in general made the show a bit too self-aware, and sort of ruined the fun.

I like to believe that we went right from cycle 17 to 20. I love Sophie, but ignoring cycles 18 and 19 is best for my sanity. Especially when I think Leila was r o b b e d (at least of the runner up spot, as Laura was also a really good model but not Kiara)

Same, except I also like to pretend that C17 didn’t happen. I don’t think Leila was robbed at all, though (homegirl’s walk was so bad), but I agree that Kiara should not have been anywhere near that finale. If anyone was robbed that cycle, it was definitely Nastasia.

Did you skip superlatives for the All-Stars cycle? I was trying to guess who was going to be The Girl Tyra Did Dirty in this cycle and wanted to look through the old ones

Yep. Too many of the superlatives would have been empty because of the way the cycle was formatted.

Sorry I have sent you a bunch of messages today but 1. I just re watched the finale of cycle 17 and it looked so fake and rehearsed that it honestly made me cringe 2. for cycle 22 are you going to do all the ratings and such at the end or do it week by week?

Don’t even feel sorry about sending me messages. I love getting messages from you guys.

1. Yes, that finale was fake as hell. Allison and Lisa looked so confused by how the judges didn’t really explain why Angelea was gone. Lisa’s surprised face also didn’t look too genuine. When Lisa’s genuinely surprised she usually goes a bit crazy.

2. I’m going to liveblog each episode (one long post for each episode rather than the series of short posts I’m doing for the past cycles) and do my call-out orders each week. The rest of the rankings will come after the cycle is over.
