Look what we unearthed from SFMOMA’s Office of the Director Records! In this letter to Anton Refregier, dated June 27, 1947, SFMOMA Director Grace McCann Morely writes about the artist’s murals, which he was commissioned to paint at the Rincon Annex Post Office in San Francisco as part of the Works Progress Administration Federal Art Project.
