Cineasta d’apropiació que treballa sense càmera, comissari i teòric, aquest lleidatà resident a Suïssa ha vist projectats els seus treballs en filmoteques i museus d’arreu del món, com per exemple el MoMA de San Francisco. Pinent (1975) està present a ERNO amb una peça cinematogràfica objectual. Per a veure countdown / film braille, l’espectador no haurà de mirar sinó tocar-la, resseguir-la amb els dits: es tracta d’un bucle de pel·lícula de 16mm amb els fotogrames gravats amb escriptura braille. La seqüència té una durada total de deu segons, fet que evoca el clàssic loop tancat que s’usa en un projector de 16mm. Una peça subtil i delicada.

He has had his work projected in cinematheques and museums around the world, such as the MoMa in San Fransisco. For ERNO, Pinent (1975) has presented an objectual cinematographic piece. In order to see countdown / film braille the spectator does not have to look but to touch, trace it with his/her fingers. It’s a loop of 16mm celluloid with the frames punctured in Braille. The sequence has a total duration of 10 seconds, which has the effect of the classic closed loop used in 16 mm projectors. A subtle and delicate piece.
