been thinking about the fact that mateo, quentis, and antrim are like the ideal premise for a greatcoats-based comedy. cause you’ve got mateo “about as heretical a man as i’ve ever met” tiller somehow best friends with quentis “former inquisitor” maren, and i bet my ass they argue constantly. and every time, antrim “the queen’s charity” thomas has to mediate. i have no idea what the plot would be, but they all drive each other up the wall all the time but somehow still love each other. (sounds like sebastien de castell’s other protagonist trios tm frankly)
