i finally got myself a new stand mixer and im so so soooooo excitedddddd aaararfgghhh

#ants.txt #so the one ive been using my mom found at walmart for like $100 in 2004 #and KA doesnt make that one anymore! and hasnt for a very long time! so i tried sk many times to find / adapt attachments for it #bc it only has the paddle beater and a dough hook (not even a spiralizer. much less a whisk!)#and even though the motor works just fine the bowl is p small #and for a few years now ive been gazing lustfully at one of the pro series 8 quart beasts #and ive been saving up cash in a lil envelope for a few #months now and keeping an eye on craigslist and fb marketplace etc #and today i thought id check the ka website ! and lo and behold ! BLACK FRIDAY SALE #the commercial series werent discounted #BUT i got the next best thing -- the top of the residential range both in terms of power and capacity #AND the premium version WAS ON A BIGGER SALE THAN THE REGULAR VERSON #so i got this $700 (i think) mixer for shy of 500 including shipping #and it comes with ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES #including a fkng POURING SHIELDDDDD OMGGGG #gone are the days of carefully draping a towel over the bowl and hoping it doesnt get caught...... gone are the days of splashing cream all #over myself and the counter and the walls #and. AND.#fhe best part.#they started making the bowl lifts in pretty colors 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭#not as many as the artisan series ofc! but i almost lit an artisan series on fire trying to make marshmallows once #but they didnt just have black and white and silver i got PISTACHIO #which will maych my hand mixer :')#and is pretty close to my enameled dutch ovens !!!!!!!!!!#i wanted pink obv but the pink was more. idk dusty mauve rose gold kinda thing #not PINK pink #eeeeeek im so excitedddddd #ive never been able to like. make bread jn the mixer #aaaaaaaa !!!!

also i didnt intend to start collecting pigs? ive always loved Little Guys but for like two years i just kept getting gifted/given/found pigs? so then i focused on pigs but i love all sortsa little guys :)

#ants.txt #WILL be going over all this w my therapist #next next monday #the one after the one comin up #until then i have group on the weekdays but i dont think this will come up cos Those therapists got ideas #anyway. at the hospital in group rec therapy (so ALL of us currently admitted) talking about fear #and popcorning around the room for examples of instances of fear that weve had in ourselves or others #one of the women there talks abt how her daughter came to her crying and terrified on the day she was supposed to move into her new dorm #for her freshman year of college on the far coast #and she was crying and talked about how she held her and hugged her and told her that if she wanted she would buy a return ticket for her r #right then and she could fly back home with the family. but that she didnt want her to look back on this moment in the furute #and regret it for the rest of her life. and how she held her daughter until she calmed down and decided to stay and she did for a whole year #and how her daughter went back to her hotel room and she immediately burst into tears from heartbreak of seeing her so scared #and i couldnt help but think of. im p sure the most scared i have ever been #certainly that i can ever remember being-- after recieveimg #a terminal diagnosis for wilson #that he had max 6 months left #(turned out to be a total misdiagnosis-- that was 3 and a half years ago)#(mr man is doing wonderfully and his heart function is actually improving compared to last year ! on his med regimen )#and i called my mom sobbing and said mama im scared mama i dont know what to do mama please im scared #and she fucking. good god #she started lecturing me and insulting me #saying that i couldnt let this stop me (from getting my degree) and how i was a quitter and i always quit when things got hard and i always #have #so i cried over that so hard today that i had to stay #nearly an hour late until they thought i was safe to leave #and the woman saw me crying and came and talked to me and i managed to get out i wish my mom was like you #and she talked ablut how she knew my mom loved me and she gave some really good points #and then she hugged me. and kissed me on the forehead. and gave me her phone number and said to call her anytime if i needed #to talk or cry or if i needed to come spend the night away from home

so i had to drop out of the halloween show at the dance studio bc of depression BUT im signed up for the xmas show and im gonna start choreographing this week

apparently everyone wants to be sexy mrs claus and the directior was like PLEASE say something besides sexy mrs claus literally ten people have a—

just so everyone knows. the other day i got a good grade in mcr which is normal to want and possible to achieve (at a concert > i am younger than most > woman behind me (who held my hands when we screamed in each others face that we were not afraid to keep on livin nor walk this world alone) complimented me at the end and said "you did really good you knew all the words even i didnt know all the words")
