The power they would have. The sheer degree of awfulness.

Colors and Free Guy: Keys and Antwan
Some food for thought is that Keys was Blue Shirt Guy the whole time. Okay yall are probably thinking "We knew that already he made Guy with how he felt about Millie" but that's not what I'm talking about.
What do all but one of these have in common?
Keys is wearing a blue shirt.
For most of the movie, we see him wearing the one in the top right, which is a pale blue, representing a kind of supression of who he really is while he's working for Soonami.
The Cop uniform his avatar is in is a darker blue that is almost black, and is kind of intimidating, putting up a front so he seems more confident in what he's doing.
In the bottom left is his black shirt, which we see him wearing when he's helping Millie try and get the video file from the player's storehouse. Black is usually worn when someone is undercover or hiding, and he's hiding the fact that he's helping Millie and essentially breaking his NDA.
In the top left picture is what we see him wearing at the end of the movie, which is a vibrant blue shirt, representing how he's now free from Soonami and Antwan and can finally do what he loves to do.
The color blue overall is a very big color throughout the movie, with Guy being known as "Blue Shirt Guy", and being different from any NPC or Player, since he's doing good. Blue is a color commonly associated with the good side, and that could also be a reason why Keys' shirt in the beginning is more of a grey-blue is because he's working for the wrong side.
When we're first introduced to Antwan, he's wearing blue as well, seemingly more vibrant than Keys is at the time, but with his coat being more black. Pulling in from the themes of earlier, black is seen as a more secretive color, and since its more apparent in his jacket than the blue is, its representation that Antwan is hiding something, while also pretending to be good.
At the end of the movie, Antwan is wearing a different jacket, which has no blue on it. It's fully black. Black can also be seen as an association for darkness (or the absence of light), as this is where Antwan's full intentions are revealed. Rather than using the black to hide, he is now using it to expose his role as the full antagonist of the movie, no longer holding up the good facade.
This is a collaborative project based on Taika and Rhys’s different characters. These combinations are just one of many possibilities. These stylized concept images correspond to certain emotions from different stories. (If I can translate the stories into English, I will publish them on AO3.) If you are interested in any specific combinations, feel free to leave a comment or guess their story development. (find me on X→@ jumpey4) (如果你在中国,你可以买到这些图片的贴纸和透卡,微博@Jumpey跳跳)
