Friday night at The Ritz, I saw Thursday for the first time! I have been a fan of theirs since I was 12/13, and I was so impressed with their high-energy and crowd-engaging performance.

Stick To Your Guns and Cursive frontman Tim Kasher opened the night. The pit for STYG got rowwwwwdy, so I did my best to keep my nose safe from any potential hits to the face. Mission: accomplished.

It feels like forever since I've taken pics at the ballgame. Best part of tonight? $2 hot dogs, babyyyyyy.

It was a double-header, so I left work and headed straight to the stadium and made it in time for game 1.

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders were playing the Worcester Red Sox. I shot a few innings and then got a hot dog to go. Railriders won the first game, and the Sox got the 2nd.

Lucky for me, kinda-ish, I'm a Sox and Yanks fan.

When I go out in public after months of being MIA:

Last Thursday, I saw a few of my favorite local bands (and some bands I haven't seen before) at The Ritz Theater in Scranton.

They have been getting some really great bands, and I am happy to be getting out to snap pics again!

Eibes opened up the evening and gave an upbeat, nostalgic 2000s-type feeling. Rosary Guild and Esta Coda are two bands that always put on a great performance, and I try to catch them whenever they're in town. Rosary Guild is sure to accompany their music with an equally impressive video projecting behind.

Love that.

Toothless and Scorched Mind were loud and energetic and not the typical genre I throw on (maybe to, so seeing shows with crazy moshing and thrashing is a treat for me. I love crowd energy.

I get sooo nervous/excited when I get approved to photograph a cool band. Next week, I'm going to see--

Holy smokes, what a cool band to shoot. I like when I see bands whose music I enjoy, then after seeing them live, it's a whole different level of appreciation.
