Willing to Beta-Read!

Experience in beta reading: I beta-read for the Naruto fandom some years back. I’ve been in the fanfiction community for 10+ years but I have been inactive for the last 3 ½ because life has not been kind to me. Overall, I’d probably say about 5-6 of those years were dedicated to beta-reading.
Works beta read before: Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the titles because I deleted my fanfiction.net account. :( There were several Naruto fanfictions that I beta-read, and I managed to do one for S-cry-ed even though I knew little about the series.
Preferences in Fics to Beta read: I personally have no major preference, but I refuse to read scenes with rape/non-con or excessive gore. (Probably a good example to give as to where the limit for gore lies: anything close to Tokyo Goul level is too much. Torture scenes are big a no-no.)
I’d also like to mention that I have excessive knowledge about biology and genetics (5+ years in university) and I have won a writing award on a research project I had to do for my triad. If you are writing something that’s heavy in those, sign me up!! I can help you keep it realistic or at least within plausible realms if that’s what you’re aiming for.
Reasons for beta reading/wanting to be a beta reader: Like I stated above, I haven’t been active for a while. I would very much like to get back to writing fanfiction but I’ve been VERY bad about committing to my own work as of late. (I deleted all of my on-going works and I’m disappointed about it.) I’d like to be active again. I think becoming an active beta-reader for a new fandom will help. I also enjoy helping others and I’m especially open to helping out new writers!
