Hate's not a fucking emotion. Hate is a mean and treacherous thing, and you're better off not feeling it ever at all. Anger's fine, anger's good, rage and fury too. They're emotions, they're human. But hatred is some cold thing creeping its tonguefooted way into your bones. If you let it roost, it'll be in your marrow and your new blood cells. It'll make you lonely in a crowd and incapable of the barest decency.
