You guys should really check out my The 100 College AU “Young Volcanoes” modern au fanfic!

In includes pretty much every The 100 character, the Delinquents, the adult Aarkers, the grounders, even some Mountain Men (also Wells and Anya c:) and pretty much every ship will happen at some point.

Please consider that my mother tongue isn’t English, so sometimes I slip back into using German grammar and certain phases that can’t actually be translated, but, well, I’m going my best.

The 100 season 3 Promo

So, after the first promo for season 3 has aired and I read some analysis here are my toughts and theories. Feel free to message me and come talk about them!

“Tell me about the Mountain” - “I did what I had to do, that’s all.”

The first thing we notice: Clarke is ginger, for whatever reason. She’s also hurt, you see some wounds on her face. The voice asking her to tell her about the Mountain is female, but it’s not Lexa. It’s probably another grounder, but a warrior, otherwise she wouldn’t speak English. Could be the Ice Nation Queen.

A marching army. A marching Ice Nation army (the banner shows that they are Ice Nation). Banners high means they are at way. So the question is: Who is fighting who? A war between the different Grounder clans or between the grounder / the Ice Nation and the Arkers?

The background is definitely at Camp Jaha, but you see the tire meaning there is a car at Camp Jaha. So the questions are: Where did they get a car? How did they get it to work? How do they use it?

“This is about Clarke. She is being hunted. By everyone.”

So what we see is that Indra is talking to soemone at Camp Jaha, either Kane or Bellamy I guess. Question 1: Did Indra come to the Arkers or did they look for her? Question 2: Are they good? Are they fighting together? Also her hair is longer and looks great.

There is car, and a horse, prob. Someone riding a horse. I could imagine it to be Murphy considering that the ground looks sandy, meaning it could be close to the/in the Dead Zone. I could also imagine Jaha, but it’s less likely I think. Or Emori maybe?

The first thing you think: Shit, someone’s fighting. Looking closer you realize the two dudes are Lincoln and Bellamy, so I don’t think they are fighting, but training. On the ground Bellamy can’t rely on his guns so Lincoln teaches him how to fight with his bare body.

Jasper and Octavia. Jasper is crying, hopefully still for Maya and not for Monty. He has some kind of bandage around his neck, so who hurt him which way? Or did they jsut need his blood and he gave it freely? Also, O is comforting Jasper, her head is on his shoulder, meaning that their relationship gets better again. Another aspect is that O isn’t wearing war paint. Why?

“Our people think this is real peace. Try not to screw that up.”

So Kane kept his beard, but the two of them look much cleaner, not damaged or dirty, so they aren’t at war at this very moment. Kane and Bellamy interacting in that way and Kane telling him not to screw up might mean that Bellamy gets a leader role again, that he is accepted as one of the leading figures at Camp Jaha. It also promoted the “Kane is Bellamy’s father” theory.

Pretty sure those are Raven and Wick. Look at the brace. They probably tried to blow something up but accidentally did something wrong, or someone put a bomb on something they knew Raven and Wick would work on. What we know for sure is that any kind of relationship will continue between Raven and Wick, they are still working as a team. I hope they make her happy, whichever way they choose.

Who are the bad guys here? Of course my first thought was grounders, but looking at legs of the person in the back of the first pic I’m not so sure. Who else could it be? Survivors from another Ark Station? Or another Grounder Clan? Bellamy has is guard jacket back which contributes to my idea of him being a leading figure once again. Also, Bellamy and Monty being captured definitely counts as an act of war, the question is: Why them? Bellamy makes sense, but why Monty? Was it just bad luck?

None of the two people fighting here is an Arker, at least not on the first look. No face is visible, so we have no idea who those two are. Watching the trailer again and again to me it looked a bit like someone new was trying to save Bellamy and Monty from an attack.

Then, the last screen is shown, revealing the new The 100 logo and appearing in the style of season 2′s intro. We see a skyline in the back, probably Polis as it was mentioned to play a much more important role in season 3.

So all in all we can say that there is going to be a new enemy, a new war, and what we know for sure is that season 3 is going to pull our hearts out and shred them.
