8. What;s a similarly you have with your character?
Camille and I both speak in a distinct accent that is relative to our areas that is particularly hard to understand if you are unfamiliar with old country terms and if you can't keep up with the speed fluctuation of our speech lol. Idk man we both have weird southern accents.
9. What’s a difference you have with your character?
Camille is a lot more independent than I am. WORLDS more. She had been on her own for 5 years by the time she was my age.
18. What’s your favorite thing about rping an original character?
I don't have a definitive favorite thing, but one thing I really do appreciate about having a WoC original character is the solid knowledge that/being secure in knowing that my followers are following me for my writing and characterization. I know that they aren't just chasing after an attractive male faceclaim they want to ship with, and I know they aren't jumping the latest movie bandwagon with my character by following me. It really does test the quality and the intent of players you have in your midst when your peers write with you purely for the sake of writing with you and sharing in the experience of creation and story making.
19. What’s something you dislike about rping an original character?
I think this answer would be the same no matter whom you ask it to. Original characters have a stigma attached to them that leave them virtually ignored by most canon characters, even minor characters--basically everyone except for other oc's. What's worse is that the common stereotypes that are tacked on to most oc's (laziness, lack of originality, smut-seeking, poor writing skills, lack of dimension, no development, etc) is actually 100% more common and really rampant, i should say, because it is that bad, in the canon realm than in the ocs. But original's are usually brushed off and flat out ignored when we approach most canons for interaction, especially within certain fandoms, buuuuuut it's whatever. I've lost interest in most canon characters tbqh.
44. What’s your favorite thing about rping a chat/short style thread?
This is hard omg. I guesssss, well they're fun to observe between two other roleplayers lol. I am incapable of doing chat or short style.
45. What’s your least favorite thing about rping a chat/short style thread?
There's no opportunity for your partner to delve into your character or know their thought processes or reasons for reactions. I never really understood chat style unless it's between two canon characters, because everything is already known about them. I wouldn't feel comfortable because it's too shallow of an interaction style for a character that really no one knows except for myself, without letting them in. It's way too limiting, it wouldn't get me anywhere.
46. What’s your favorite thing about rping a long/para/novella style thread?
Take the above answer and flip it. lol it's just a really fun way to create and let your imagination loose. Writing is so much fun for me, being able to watch an entire universe unfold at the hands of someone I enjoy along with myself ...idk man it's awesome. I can't even give a good answer for this, it's amazing watching something you've nurtured so dearly and love so much come to life with someone else's own baby. And we can both just fawn and go giddy and blah I'm a loser lol
