Down the River (By the Crane Wives) in my opinion is SO life series Grian coded. Specifically the line "High-tail it when it gets to be too much, But what about the rest of us?"

First example, 3rd life, Grian kept saying after he looses a life he's gone, and though he didn't leave and stayed with Scar til the end. Still kinda fits.

Then we have Last Life where when he went red he just kinda left the Southlands (it's been awhile, I needa rewatch it ToT).

Then can't really think of a good example for Double Life?

Next I think in Limited Life the line strongly applies because almost the second Joel died he became a nosy neighbor.

Then for Secret Life can't think of an example either?

And last but not least Wild Life where he was definitely sad about his Spanners dying but right after he asked Martyn to be his friend and then after that allied with the Family.
