We decided to make a chart showing all the different relationships between system members as they are today (July, 2026). Interested to see how this changes over time.

A couple system updates!

There's been a few developments within the system that I wanted to make an official post for, so here goes.

First of all: Warm welcomes to our newest member, Lux! [they/she]

When Tyriad first realized he was, well, him, there was some uncertainty as to whether he had formed from the personality that identified as Pigeon, or if he was unrelated, and whether or not Pigeon was still around in any capacity.

Now that Lux has made herself known, what we believe happened is that Pigeon split into the two of them, with Lux inheriting and then building upon the aspects of Pigeons personality that didn't end up going to Tyriad.

Lux carries a lot of heavy emotions for the system, and as such can be understandably irritable. They're efficient, organized, and care a lot about keeping a clean and tidy environment. She'll probably be one of the quieter members of the system for a bit, but we hope that they'll settle in and become more comfortable talking and posting about their experiences.

Their tag is going to be Lux🌙

In other news: We want to officially announce that Red will be changing his name to Raziel!

This was something he had considered awhile ago, but initially decided against, as, while their personalities are similar, he didn't really identify with the character/source much beyond that and didn't want to cause confusion.

Now that Tyriad's been around for a bit, however, more and more similarities have come up and he now feels comfortable enough with the idea to take on the name, even if he still doesn't necessarily identify as a fictive.

We probably won't be retroactively changing the tags, but from here on out his tag will be Raziel❌️

Having an OC fictive from a quasi-medieval fantasy world as a headmate is funny sometimes cause you'll get insights into the character that you never would have come up with on your own. Like, yeah, you would be a Mitski fan, wouldn't you. Depressed Bastard.

Often see lots of posts about being fictive-heavy, but not the opposite. We really only got one (1) fictive. Hard to not feel out of place...

One of our friends was asking how our fictive feels about me constantly making embarrassing art of him— Honestly he's very chill about it all things considered, and we wouldn't post something that made him genuinely uncomfortable.

I guess in this instance putting it on the fridge would be analogous to posting on tumblr which now that I think about it... Yeah. Yeah it is.

The Problems with Emotional Amnesia

So it turns out that it's really hard to give someone a fair assessment of your system's overall mental health needs when your brainmate's crisis feels completely inconsequential to you.

There's something so strangely lonely about being a relatively new headmate, and especially one who often masks around others. I don't know how to interact with our own friends as myself, but aside from the headmates I can communicate easily with they're all I have. They barely even know me.
