A typical day in the face family?

“Michelle! Come on, love! You have to put your shoes on!” “No!”

Alfred finally trudged downstairs, his khaki pants a tag too big and his dress shirt a bit wrinkly “Papa do we have to go to mass so early? Can’t we go in the afternoon?”

“Yes Alfred, we have to go early. That’s just the way things are now come on, put your jacket on! Where’s Matthieu?” Francis grabbed his own coat from the foyer and hurriedly checked all of the rooms downstairs, helping Arthur grab Michelle to wrestle her shoes on. Matthew came out of the bathroom with toothpaste foam still on his face. Francis cleaned him up and grabbed his hand “Come on! We can’t be late again!” He declared, wrangling everyone before leading his family out to the minivan

Francis wasn’t allowed to drive because Arthur claimed he was too reckless so, of course, his husband claimed the driver’s seat. Francis buckled Michelle into her kiddie seat too, the twins sat on either side of her. He climbed in and off they went.

“Papa I’m hungry!” “You just had breakfast Alfred, we can go out to lunch after church-“ “PAPA ALFIE PINCHED ME!” “Dad! Michelle pinched me first!” “Guys stop yelling, you’re gonna give dad a headache!” “DAD MY SOCKS DONT MATCH!”

Francis pinched the bridge of his nose and sent Arthur a ‘why did you give them sugary cereal’ look. Arthur chose to ignore the glare and kept his eyes on the road, looking quite tired as well.

The problem was, they hadn’t been to church in three weeks. How horrible was that!? Arthur isn’t religious at all but Francis is and he wants to share that with the kids. Matthew seems to get something out of their church service but all Michelle and Alfred do is complain, much to their dads disapproval. Arthur doesn’t openly sigh but he supposes that the kids can sense his boredom and feel the same way.

Once they finally managed to get there, Michelle was taken to her Sunday school group, she was still too young to sit through a service, and the twins were ushered along into the sanctuary to sit in the pews with their parents. The pastor talked for awhile, Matthew and Francis listening intently. Alfred rested his head on Arthur’s shoulder and attempted to fall asleep but alas, he was awoken.

Matthew never really sings during service cause he’s to shy but he watches Francis sing with a silly grin on his face cause he just....loves seeing his papa happy. Arthur feels the same way.

Once service is over, they’re always the first out of the sanctuary so they can go retrieve Michelle, who usually doesn’t want to leave cause she’s having fun. Then they go to the same little family restaurant a few blocks over to have lunch, as they always do after church. They never really talk about church and what they learned, they have lunch and talk about school and stuff like that

I wrote this cause out of the whole week, Sunday church service with the Kirkland-Bonnefoys is the most chaotic time of the week. Everyone’s gotta get up and get dressed and wear nice clothes and be AWAKE during service!!! I know the pain, for my family it’s the same way

Just a ramble of today's events~

So much stuff happened that I don't even know where to start IDBAKSNS

I jokingly told my friend that Soshiro is my wife in kn8 when I recommended the series for her. Girlie watched the show and told me she likes him but said that he's my wife so she won't simp over him. She loves Mina the most though.

After that I listen to my friend ramble on about a board game he made for almost an hour. He sent me a guidebook he wrote but I didn't read it at the time. I apologized, and unknowingly opened pandora's box. The man yapped my ear off over the most complex system I have ever heard of for a board game. An hour wasn't enough for him. The convo was cut off barely half-into the whole thing.

Met up with an acquaintance who's close with the guy above who was gone bc he had some stuff to do. We just talked about that guy's board game for almost an hour. The guidebook was literally 11 pages long and it wasn't even done. Both of us were laughing at it lightheartedly and praised as well as respected the guy's dedication to his board game. Only the two of us ever really listened to him talk abt the said game he made.

Prior to that, I walked around my whole damn university to process my transfer for over an HOUR. There was a problem in the system so they passed me on to just about everyone before telling me to come back tomorrow morning instead to finish the process!

After all that, I met up with the first guy. This time, he was with another friend of ours. Three of us went for dinner. SHE PAID FOR THE ENTIRE DINNER. I sat down and pulled out the money from my wallet and she looked me dead in the eyes before saying she was not about to accept my money. A little back and forth...she won. I kept my money.

After that, she bought parfait for the three of us.

Then, after that, she gave me a bunch of stuff??? Make-up, skincare, and a few other things as well. Some of them were expensive asf, and the rest were pretty costly. I just looked at her, and she waved a hand at me to accept it all.

The day was horribly draining and my body is probably malfunctioning for being awake for almost 24 hours now— gods, let me sleep.
