A custom launcher for a custom server with a much needed updater
If you are an Age of Empires fan like me and in particular a fan of Age of Empires Online (AOEO), you may have heard of Project Celeste. Project Celeste is a fan server for AOEO as the game was shut down in 2014. Although Project Celeste is fantastic in many ways, the launcher leaves much to be desired. This is because it does not support Steam integration (for tracking hours) or a way to automatically patch your game on a click of a button.
Not to worry though! I have created a launcher that allows for Steam integration and an automatic patching system. The only requirement is that you have an existing Project Celeste account.
Enjoy :)
What a great soundtrack. Too bad it'll all be going away in July.
