My friend got married at twenty-two to a man who was fifty-three at the time. It's been 5+ years and they are still ridiculously happy. There's a little bit of a power imbalance because she only works part-time and he makes a lot of money and supports her, but they're happy that way. They have two kids and a bunch of cats. Age difference relationships work IRL just fine so long as everybody is communicative, willing to compromise and ask for what they need -- same as any other relationship. :)

That’s great! :) I didn’t mean to imply that age gap relationships can’t work, but I have next to zero experience with the subject so I can only share my thoughts as someone who’s as much none the wiser as my favorite characters 😂 It’s nice to hear about couples that make it work tho, and that’s truly the best piece of advice! A really lovely piece about Ian being head-over-heels in love and Mickey slowly realizing he might be allowed to want something other than what he always expected from life.

Quarantine Tag Game

Are you staying home from school/work? Yeah, my boss dismissed all interns until the office reopens. Kinda sucks because at this point I’m poor AND bored. On the bright side, I just got a financial aid scholarship for academic excellence and the first amount went straight to my bills, so sad :( but at least there’s that, can’t complain.

If you’re staying home, who is there with you? My husband. 

Are you a homebody? Yes. I usually don’t mind staying home like, at all, but after almost four weeks I admit I’m going a bit stir-crazy. I don’t know how I’d be handling it without internet or fanfiction.

An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled? Not really, everything I was looking forward to - movie releases, getting my masters diploma and visiting my family - has just been postponed so hopefully later this year 🙏🏼

What movies have you watched recently? Frozen 2 (disappointing plot-wise, but stunning visuals), Onward (so sweet, cried my heart out), Our Idiot Brother (it was fun, I love Paul Rudd). I also rewatched Begin Again, Avengers 1, HP3 and The Matrix.

What shows are you watching? I haven’t seen much lately. Watched a bit of On My Block and finished Car Masters with husband the other day. I tried to watch Altered Carbon’s second season but didn’t find it as interesting as the first one. Might check Westworld out, or maybe rewatch something fun like Sex Education. Suggestions are welcome!

What music are you listening? Same old, same old: Lana, Imogen, Florence, Angus & Julia, Mayra Andrade, The Weeknd. Oh, I checked On My Block’s soundtrack recently and fell in love with it, so I’ve been exploring more from artists like Alina Baraz and Khalid.

What are you reading? Trying to manage recent Starker and old Drarry fics while occasionally checking whatever third ship smut @peachbabypie talks me into lol

What are you doing for self-care? Taking naps, having a glass of wine every other night, reading fic, watching porn, trying my best to eat healthy while ordering Five Guys takeout once a week. Can’t resist their chocolate milkshake.

Any big projects you’re working on? I should be working on my final report so I can graduate ASAP. I’m working on my final Starker reclist instead, and I regret nothing :)

Plans for when the quarantine is over? Finishing my internship, graduating, getting a regular job (hopefully at another company) and visiting my family later this year 🙏🏼

➺ What trope do you wish there was more of in your favourite pairing(s)?  

There are... some tropes lol. Above all others, I’d love to read more identity porn. Especially if it’s something like Tony and Peter can’t stand each other at work but SM and IM got the hots for each other and flirt nonstop during missions lmao. I can totally see Tony’s playboy persona as someone really difficult to work with, I think he’d be a terrible boss and Peter would hate his arrogant and inappropriate (tho very juicy) ass lol. I could also get more of: hooker AUs because they’re my jam; angsty fix-its, with jaded Peter finding a way to bring Tony back many years later; accidental sugar daddy!Tony (see my personal headcanon here); therapeutical baths or massage fics (thanks @starkeristheendgame!).

Ohhh I love those, a very tasty selection! Voyeurism/exhibitionism is one of my biggest kinks and I’d be pleased to read it in any form, but right now I’m thinking about fucking by proxy, say Pevengers while Tony watches (sex pollen orgy? omega!Peter? hooker!Peter? who cares, not me) orrr Pepper watching Tony fuck Peter in some sort of open relationship or poly fic. Next is size difference and I gotta say I’ve been craving some Spidershield on that front. I’m not even a big Steve fan nowadays but I really like the idea of that uptight, self-righteous soldier giving in and fucking Peter against a wall lol.
