OKAY on a serious note this is the final part to the paintings project i've been working on!! it's a dumb play on the term "oatling gallery", but holy hell does this have a lot of details in it :)
"there's gonna be a cee for this but this is a series im doing for a big-ish big project" - 6/23, 2 weeks later this is the cee im talkin about
(in case ya wanna see all the details i'm describing em under the cut... 👀)
oatling gallery [1/2]:
all of the artwork on the walls is mine! it includes the artworks 2-4 (heart/artemis TFA, m1nd TLM, atlas FTC), plus some other stuff
m1nd as ishmael + the "late nights" drawing, as well as the fruit magical girl doodles (though AAA is kinda hidden beneath cee…)
i drew the entire pattern on the wall from hand!
there's lots and LOTS of fun little details in there. for example:
the HMS sigils in the middle, plus cee, harmony, and even The (with the eyes)
spacey stuff out there for the souls, pattern stuff for minds, tons of flora because of harmony
there's tridents on the sides near the middle
bat wings just because
i signed inside the pattern like twice to fill extra space, one with L.B. initials and one time with just. actual words. you gotta fill the space somehow
there's more but if you want to go searching for it be my guest honestly
honorable mention to this wood and marble fence piece thing that i'm proud of the rendering on
sunflower love, framed [2/2]:
this painting is the only one i actually uploaded to tumblr with the frame, but i decided i liked the square frame better than the circle one when putting it into the final artpiece for this
the flora on the side is the same color as the sunflowers
they're implied to either be spicebush or sunflowers (but i like the idea of them being sunflowers more)
in the first piece it's implied cee was bringing more flowers to put around the painting
also its heavily implied cee painted this themself but again up to interpretation
more implications, i like the idea harmony doodled the little flower and heart on the nametag plaque thing herself
extras:
all the cee art was done on a separate canvas for the sake of krita not lagging itself to death and destroying my progress
+ the original sketch/planning on whiteboard-fox + notepad i did immediately after walking back from dollar tree (where i had the idea)... if you can't tell the paintings changed a TON overtime
