I love think about how aos jim is captain kirk before he’s captain kirk if that makes sense. Like, at these points he hasn’t found his life’s “purpose” and he’s kinda lonely besides bones and scotty as they’re the only ones that respect him as who he is as himself and a captain at these points. I feel like I didn’t properly write what I was thinking, but I just love his character and how he really isn’t captain kirk but just himself, Jim. And, to me at least, he kind of seemed a little desperate in terms of connecting to the people around him and seemed really careful or worried about sustaining those connections, but that could just be me looking too close at it.

My favouritest edit ive ever made

The composition over this scene makes me so sad, the rise and fall of the melody throughout the song pulls my heart strings and it’s called, ‘buying the space farm’ which is just the saddness cherry on top in my book.☹️|| Im pretty sure this is the fastest ive ever made an edit i gotta say not to shabby.🤓

It always crushes my soul a bit whenever I watch these two scenes. Like, kirk looks so happy and he’s excited he’s about to go on his first actual adventure with his favourite people that doesn’t hold high stakes and is immediately shut down by Spock’s inability to disobey his moral code even in the face of his and kirks relationship. Which, you can tell, is just a huge slap in the face to kirk. But even then he tries to accept Spock’s moral dilemma and make ammends, which is also quickly shot down when Spock doesn’t have the ability to understand and respond to kirks offered (metaphorical) hand. Or I’m over tired and reading too much into the scenes. Damn sleep problems‼️

This edit was mostly me messing with stuff on capcut but I love headcannoning that in eversingle universe they’re in they meet eachother. Like medieval era, they’re like knights that are partners, or a cowboy au where kirks just a cowboy roaming the desert he happens across a crashed spaceship containing his boy Spock, just spitballing. And even if there's even such a universe where there's only one of them in it, they live with the never-ending feeling that something is missing.

I don’t know what this is, I whipped it up just now within like an hour and a half. Just felt like editting angry Spock because this guy honestly deserves to be angry, i mean like really. No idea why spock is upside down in one clip it was not like that in the editting software which is pretty silly. I LOVE ANGRY SPOOOCCKKK🫶🫶🎀🎀🎀
