friendly reminder to everyone who thinks levi should be kept far away from children after what we saw in chapter 56 that historia is, in fact, a three year trained recruit that scored the rank of tenth most competent trainee of her squad. levi isn't abusing a child. he isn't abusing a girl. he is disciplining a soldier. he is giving her the same treatment that — as a commanding officer — he would subject anyone to (man or woman, 50 or 15) with her status under the current circumstances. gender equality; heard of it? well, take a good look, there's a sterling example for you.
if you want an example of how levi treats children, look at isabel. look at the way he treats her. remember that he saved her from the brink of starvation, gave her a home, a family (as much of one as he had the means to give her, anyway). remember the fact that, in the underground, children fucking FLOCKED around this guy for safety, for comfort. for hope.
then come in here and tell me that levi is a child abusing sadist piece of shit. go on. i fucking dare you.
His hair is so fricky fracky adorable
so am i the only one playing with the notion that levi is adopted
i knew it
if levi comes from a family/clan of assassins (perhaps even working for the king, i.e. people doing royal dirty work, as it looks like), that means that his upbringing must have been cold, lacking comfort. it's probably where he learned how to torture, how to maintain a straight face, an unreadable exterior, how to make quick, hard, calculated decisions under pressure. where he became so familiar, so comfortable, with the concept of murder (some examples: a.) he instantly felt the need to kill erwin in acwnr even if there was little necessity nor incentive to go that far, as farlan himself rationalizes at one point in the vn, b.) he almost knifed hange under the suspicion that she was onto their plan and c.) there's that ambiguous incident with isabel's unknown tormentors that levi supposedly 'took care of'). contemplate this: the way levi holds a blade — his trademark reverse grip — is considered an extremely confident way of holding a weapon, ideal for people that are working with disadvantages in, for example, strength and height.
he's experienced.
too experienced.
it all makes sense.
Attack on titan ova and a new chapter!!
This is a good month!
