No this shot isn’t finished, I gotta add those extra lighting/shading details that I showed y’all in the previous post as well as drawing the backgrounds but I hope this gets y’all excited for the fully animated parts of this animatic!! :D

GUYS I’M GETTING CLOSE

I’ve been really shy to post my previews here so I’ve mostly shown my stuff on the Discord.  BUT ANYWAYS!!  I’ve still got the fully-animated shots to finish and a bunch of animatic shots to clean up but it won’t be much longer until it’s finally done!  I got a lot of progress done today (it especially shows in this section I’m showing) and as a result I’ve decided to treat y’all with this WIP!  Hope you guys enjoy, I’ve been working really hard! :D

AW YEEEEAH made the thumbnail for House of Memories!! I put a lot of thought into the composition and how it relates to these character arcs and relationships. Don’t get me wrong I still got a lot to work on but I got so excited and couldn’t help but make the video thumbnail ahead of time! I’ve only got less than a dozen shots left to make as an animatic but I still gotta finish all the fully animated segments. I know that sounds like a lot, but I think it’ll be done in a couple weeks!

Again, I don’t think I’d be nearly as motivated to finish this if not for all of your support. Thank you so much Levihan community for the feedback and birthday wishes on the last post, y’all are such kind and welcoming people! It really makes my day to hear from you guys! :D

“Maybe we should just live here...”

I’m making good progress!!  This part isn’t finished in its entirety, but this update should give you a good idea of what the animatic portions are going to look like!!

Hange’s lip sync isn’t the best, I admit I’m really rusty, but I’m hoping I can go back and fix it so it matches up better to the lyrics of the song.  There’s a bit of animation here and there but it’s not as smooth as the what’s going to be shown during the fully colored and edited segments!  I’ll be sure to show those when I get there!  Anyways midterms are coming up already so while I’ve got my hands pretty full, I wanted to set some time aside for this project!!  

I’ve been really motivated lately and that’s all thanks to you and your support!  The comments and tags in the reblogs have absolutely made my day in my past posts and it makes me so happy to know that y’all enjoy my content!  Stick around for more snippets of animation if you want to continue hearing about my progress! :D

AAAAA THANK YOU SO MUCH ANON!! That seriously means so much to hear I cannot express it enough! I’m glad you among others are excited for the animatic, I am too!

I currently have 1872 layers on the file 💀 Bless Photoshop for not imploding at every pen stroke.

I’ve had to take a break from working on animations for some time due to college, so it’s been a couple months since I’ve touched it. I miss working on it! ;-; However, this time off did not come without its benefits! I reread 132 recently and realized some details within the animatic are inaccurate so I’m going to go back and fix them (particularly with the plane and how Levi wasn’t looking out the window to see Hange “get marshmallowed” I’m sorry when that happened) but it’ll be nothing too drastic for me to handle! In fact, I think I’ll be able to make it even more painful…I could always squeeze the "dedicate your heart" scene in there mwahaha >:)

Somewhat unrelated but I CAN’T BELIEVE I PREDICTED THE 126 PACING CHANGE WITH IFKK AND THEN THE PATHS OPENING IMMEDIATELY JUST LIKE IN THE ANIMATIC I WAS SHOOK WHEN I SAW THAT LAST WEEK WHAT

Anyways here are some minor crumbs while you wait! This shot of Hange blushing is done and I hope to get a good jump on the full rotation shot over Spring Break! Thank you so much for dropping by and feel free to send more asks, I love hearing from you all! :D

Here are some finished shots for the upcoming levihan animatic that I showed y’all in sketch form the other day!  I got a lot of positive feedback which was really touching, I’m so glad you guys are as excited for this project as I am!  Also please ignore how I drew the titans in that first picture lmao I thought it’d be funny but now it just looks bad

I spent a long time on that second one, I really wanted to capture Hange’s energy around the titans and Moblit’s desperate attempts to keep them out of reach!  Poor Sawney and Bean just wanna be pet, they definitely won’t chomp off a limb.  But the last one’s gotta be my favorite, I like how I drew Levi holding his tea cup with his unusual grip!  Also Eren’s there too!  I know it’s hard to tell, his hair pre-timeskip is kinda hard to nail.  But I hope you guys like it so far, I’m really excited to show you more down the line!  I might livestream working on this on YouTube so please feel free to look out for it on my channel!  (Here's the link:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-1WQ52DpowusfBEjpRC_Vg )
