Reblog if you’re not emotionally ready for AP exam scores to come out next week. Watch me get 2′s across the board.
Y'all know how parents are always convinced the reason we go to bed so late is because we are wasting time on our phones? I think its because to them, the amount of schoolwork we have is absolutely inconceivable. They know what they had in highschool, and they understand highschool is more difficult than it was for them, but they cannot even reasonably begin to understand the exponential increase in workload and difficulty level. Its unfathomable to them. Which is why they think we MUST be wasting time on our phones, because they cannot conjure up another reason for why would spend such an unreasonable amount of time on our homework. If that doesn't sum up how fucked up the school system is, I don't know what does.
Parents:
Just because your "child" isn't on some college website, or working on a scholarship ALL THE DAMN TIME, doesn't mean they aren't trying to get into college or aren't working hard to get into college.
I think the parents need to learn to shut up and support their damn "kids" rather than constantly scream and berate them because they want to enjoy what little time and freedom they have left in between the worst years of high school, and getting ready to enter college.
College applications suck, it's more of a chore than it needs to be.
Scholarships, they also suck, they are infuriating, and just plain tedious to do and worry about. (not to mention you need FUCKING MULTIPLE ONES JUST TO FUCKING GET INTO A COLLEGE WHILE STILL HAVING TO PAY FOR IT AT ALL.)
You also have to waste time and not just apply for scholarships, but also compete for those things as well.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware having a childhood stopped at fucking sophomore year.
Becoming a college student is horrible, you have to essentially halt your entire childhood, and no longer enjoy it because you have to worry about ACTs, SATs, and these stupid ass scholarships and college applications, just to run out of money and deal with the sons of bitches known as the IRS.
Senior and Junior year are terrible, there is no such thing as being able to fucking enjoy life at that point. You have to waste your time on scholarships, you have to waste your time on college apps, and then wait to see if you're gonna be accepted and have to pay a god damn arm and leg to get into the college, and if you do? work your ass off even more to FUCKING GET INTO THE COLLEGE AND STAY THERE.
What makes it worse is that colleges aren't even fucking learning environments, they're just bullshit business designed to sap money from you, that's it. College isn't about an education, that's just a small little side thing, all they care about the money, but of course, no one ever cares what the fucking students have to say.
Honestly I always think the rejects have it easy, if they can make it on minimum wage without doing something illegal, because being educated is expensive and painful as fuck.
It's ridiculous how being a educated and job trained citizen has a cost equivalent to being a drug lord. I might as well sell my fucking organs, that way I could give my fucking money to shit heads in charge of these preppy colleges.
Alright. Here we go, AP Calculus final…
Ap Calculus and ice cream go together hand in hand. If you have no idea what I'm taking about, chances are you haven't taken AP Calculus.
nothing makes me angrier than when people dismiss my questions in school because I'm "naturally smart" and "struggling for once will be good for me" like excuse you I did not understand addition/subtraction until well into 7th grade I'm not naturally smart I just try hard so shut up and help me with my ap stats homework
My homecoming night is looking an awful lot like my AP psychology text book
