Le Rap Game réagit après la mort de la légende de la Bay Area membre des Mob Figaz The Jacka, son manager PK a donné une interview exclusive pour ABC News ou il parle de l’artiste et de l’homme qui se cache derrière l’artiste Dominic Newton. Le rappeur d’Oakland Mistah FAB et ami très proche de Jacka a lui aussi donné une interview pour la chaîne Fox2. Les réactions sont nombreuses sur twitter de la part d’artistes comme Nipsey Hussle, Bun-B, DJ Premier, Raekwon, Cormega, Freddie Gibbs etc… La dernière fois que la scène Bay a perdu une icône remonte a 2004 avec la mort de Mac Dre. The Jacka rejoint Mac Dre et les affiliés au groupe Mob Figaz tous parti trop tôt Pretty Black,Johnny Cash, Freako a cause de la violence des rues. La police d’Oakland recherche actuellement des suspects, la somme de 20,000$ sera offerte à la personne qui donnera des infos conduisant à l’arrestation du tueur.

Une autre figure de ce rap game nous quitte aujourd’hui nous rendons hommage à un grand artiste habitué du site The Jacka membre du groupe The Mob Figaz a été abattu ce matin dans les rues d’Oakland il avait 37 ans. Vétéran de la scène Bay Area il a commencé sa carrière en 99 avec l’album « C-Bo’s Mob Figaz » produit par C-Bo il a par la suite lancé la carrière de pas mal d’artistes de la région (Joe Blow, Dubb 20 Ampichino…) étant très prolifique il laisse derrière lui une grosse discographie plus d’une vingtaine de projets… (article à venir dans la section artistes) il a sorti un projet le mois dernier « What Happened To The World« . Il rejoint une autre légende et ami Mac Dre. RIP Shaheed Akbar aka The Jacka.
