One of the methods most people use to relieve this condition is a CPAP machine. Auto CPAP machines have so many benefits compared to the older models.
Many people these days suffer from a sleeping disorder known as sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is an involuntary interruption of breathing which occurs during sleep. The breathing can stop for 10 seconds…
Automatic CPAP Machines have airway pressure that can adjust automatically based on your sleep apnea needs. APAP machines use a range of advanced sensors to detect exactly how much pressure you need at any given time. They represent a rising trend in treatments for sleep apnea.
My CPAP Journey
Now this is a story all about how / My life got flipped turned upside down/ And I’d like to take a minute / Just sit right there/ I’ll tell you how I became an active user of my APAP machine/ In Southwest Houston, born and raised/ In my bed is where I spent most of my days/ Chillin’ out sleepin’ relaxing all cool/ And trying to catch some rest when I’m not at school/ When my family was up to no good/ Star…

Apap Machine | Advantages of Apap Machine |
APAP stands for Positive Auto Airway Pressure and is based on the same basic principles as a
CPAP
(Continuous Positive Pressure) machine. Similar to CPAP devices, APAP machines are a non-invasive treatment for sleep apnea that provides pressurized air through a mask so your airways are not obstructed during sleep. The atmospheric pressure delivered by the machines acts as a splint, preventing your throat from collapsing on itself, so you can breathe freely all night without an apnea event.
APAP
is one of the top three forms of positive airway pressure that provides air to your airways to help you breathe during sleep if you suffer sleep apnea.
Like other PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) machines, the APAP machine is a device connected to a pressure generator with a non-invasive mask designed to provide pressure to keep the airways open while you sleep.
How it works
: The air pressure delivered by the machine acts as a splint, preventing your throat from collapsing on itself so that you can breathe freely all night without an apnea event. Most machines use defined pressure determined during a PAP titration study in the sleep center.
However, the APAP has two settings, a low-pressure setting and a high-pressure setting, which allows the machine to adjust automatically to meet the breathing needs of each patient, which can change overnight when the one -It enters different stages of sleep or changes in sleep position.
How APAP Could Be The Right Choice
1. Several studies have shown that APAP machines are the most reliable
According to the experts, APAP devices, compared to others, improve the distribution of sleep stages and offer comparable improvements in daytime sleepiness, as well as other forms of PAP treatment. In addition, APAP machines are a more popular choice among patients because they provide the appropriate pressure as needed.
2. APAP machines adapt proactively rather than reactively
APAP machines can quickly identify the limitation of airflow and avoid the collapse of the upper airways. Once patients have fallen asleep and their pressure needs have begun to vary, APAP machines can adjust pressure levels according to the degree of airway obstruction, such as inspiratory flow limitation, snoring, and apnea. The automatic APAP device adjustment feature can be especially useful for allergies, colds, or respiratory infections that result in increased airway congestion than usual.
Also, remember that each manufacturer has their own unique APAP algorithm and each one operates at a different level, reacting differently to different breathing patterns. That's why it's important that you use a device with a clinically validated algorithm to ensure proper treatment.
3. APAP machines allow flexibility
If you do not know which titration therapy is best for you, the good news is that APAP machines can also be configured in direct CPAP mode. If you suspect that self-adjusting pressure settings are not working and your doctor wants to try a single pressure setting, your APAP machine can be configured in CPAP mode.
Remember that APAP therapy may not be suitable for everyone
Avoid using an APAP device if you have chronic heart failure, central sleep apnea, or hypoventilation-to-obesity syndrome. Since the APAP machine's algorithms may not have been calibrated to address these issues, it is recommended that you follow the advice of your sleep physician.
Keep in mind that APAP therapy is not the one you set and forget. If you are a patient, be sure to consult your sleep doctor. Your doctor can refer you to a sleep technologist who can help you solve problems such as adjusting the mask and moisture requirements and help you stay in compliance with your treatment.

A List Of 10 Side-Effects And Health Risks Which Can Happen Through Limited Sleep.
A lot of us don't sleep as much as much as we need and this can have a very negative effect on our body. 4. Impaired Memory Due to lack of sleep the ability to focus and retain information is significantly reduced. People who sleep less regularly will also see long term memory loss later on in life, recently discovered by scientists.
5. Serious Illness Lack of sleep has be commonly linked to various illnesses. Lack of sleep can result in the body being in a high state of alarm, fluctuating blood pressure- which can result in more serious illnesses such as trouble with your heart and mind.
6. Injuries from accidents Not much sleep causes you to lose concentration more easily and you speed in reacting decrease. Scientists recently announced that people who sleep little and work with machinery or drive can put their lives at risk.
7. Increased risk of Cancer Scientists have recently discovered that people who sleep less are more likely to contract cancer. The possible reasoning of this is being exposed to light at night as you're awake, reduces the levels of Melatonin, a hormone which is believed to protect our bodies from Cancer.

Lack of sleep can also encourage substance abuse as the person may feel depressed due to being overtired. This is the case of many people who suffer with Sleep Apnea, a condition where the sufferer is completely unaware what happens to them throughout the night, that leaves them feeling so exhausted. Sleep Apnea is condition where the person sleeping stops breathing, this can usually be treated by using a CPAP Machine.
10. Metabolism Decreased Your sessions at the gym could go to waste if you suffer with sleep deprivation. Metabolism within the body will decrease resulting in the body storing more fat and use muscle for burning energy.
Despite lack of sleep being seen as the root of more serious health problems and risks. It is always best to seek advice from your GP.
