Got the keys to my new apartment yesterday. Remind me never to check my bank account ever again. ☠️ It will get better, but ough... capitalism is late-staging, all right.
thinking of getting these removable tile covers for my apartment kitchen backsplash once I move in. I have to make sure they'll fit first but I think this is the sorta design vibe I want to take the kitchen in, since rn EVERYTHING in there is beige or cream. and i'll likely get a little runner rug or floor mats that pull from the same colour scheme of blue with pops of orange and rusty coral

Is anyone else really bothered by the fact that dishwashers don't have little windows like washing machines do, or is that just me? I love watching my clothes get clean, and I would love to see the inside of a dishwasher in action, goddamn it!
Today is my lucky day. I wanted this convertible lounger (can be used as a couch or unfolded and used as a bed) for my studio apartment to maximize space and allow me to create additional seating if needed, but it was $300. Held off on buying it because I wasn’t working at the moment due to COVID. Today, my neighbors were throwing out the exact thing I wanted, same style and everything. I don’t know why because it was almost new (even smelled new!), but now it’s mine. I cleaned it really well and set it up in my house and it’s perfect!
