Our #WCW goes out to Kumbie and Alexandra, who presented the BTTF poster at APHA this week! Great job ladies! 💕Our public-private model to support breast care for low-income women is unique, scalable and replicable and we are honored to share our work with the #publichealth community. #apha2018 #sandiego #nyc #nonprofit #publicprivate #breastcancerawareness (at American Public Health Association 2018 Annual Meeting) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqK3pKeAAg9/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=122g2um0aljfd
There is literally a million things to take pictures of. When I left for Nashville, one of my coworkers said “I’m looking forward to seeing your pictures!” I explained that I’m coming to #APhA2018, a conference where I learn about pharmacy, where I get continuing education session, network, that it is not a vacation. She said I always take pictures, and she is so right! I’ve already gotten comments from 3 strangers who asked me if I take pictures as a living. 😳 (What gave it away? Is it my @APhAPharmacists conference bag? 😅) How lucky I am to learn in a place enriched in art and culture? @APhAPharmacists @Pharmacists . . . This picture is a section of the piece is called “Composition” by @AaronTStephan. It is reflective of the city's embracing love of all musical styles, as well as its adaptability and resilience. It is inspired by Nashville's rich history as a center of American music acknowledging and engaging the city's ubiquitous reputation with honor and humor. . . . The fact that I focused on #MyFavoriteInstrument takes away from #AaronTStephan’s clever nomenclature, but at least I’m showcasing the most beautiful section. Can I get an Amen? @bravuraphoenix @judyebersole @chencchris 😂 (at Nashville Music City Center)
