Steven: definitely owns a bunch of fidget cubes and spinners. hes been shown to canonically hum n sing as a stim. i bet he probably claps when he gets excited too
Garnet: i feel like garnet gets overstimulated easy so she doesnt usually need/like to stim but shed probably like audio stimming! or she likes feeling Textures, like velvet or maybe silk! definitely likes anything to do with rhythm like we see in Arcade Mania when she hyperfixates on meat beat mania.Ā
Amethyst: she canonically eats because itĀ āfeels weirdā, so Munch Munch. also Bites soft things like pillows or pearl (like at the end of Roseās Room). talks n yells really loudly bc she likes to Make Noise. also likes audio stimming Really Loudly
Pearl: does flappy hands when shes anxious usually. absolutely adores pressure stims and probably has laid a car on top of herself at least once, n loves really tight hugs!!! also likes being touched in general, and likes to feel warmth (like making tea so she can hold the cup even though she isnāt going to drink it)
Peridot: (yes im putting her here again because theres Always room for more peri stimming hcs) all the flappy hands all the time. she anxious? flappy. irritated? flappy. happy? she flappy. peri would also like rocking n shed chew on things (and spit them out bc digesting is Not a good stim). also shed probably steal onionās trampoline and bounce on that. then steven tells her stealing is Wrong and gets her her own trampoline. then she bounces on the balls of her feet when shes standingĀ āstillā. she also probably likes certain smells? like bleach and sharpie are Too Strong n would overstimulate her but she steals stevens shirts and lays in lapisās hammock bc they Smel Good. and Peridot is a MASTER of echolalia u cant convince me otherwise she was literally echoing stevenās ukulele in It Couldāve Been great. and she has a broken video game controller that she stims with when she needs to be quiet and/or still
Lapis: sometimes likes strong pressure but it can also cause her anxiety and it just. depends on how she feels that day. probably a visual stimmer and adores paint mixing videos/gifs (she tries it herself and ends up with a very blue mess). she probably gets the idea from amethyst to Munch and eats shit like raw fish (to stim and also to freak peri out). also lowkey Echoes but not that often
Rose: very Bitey. not just food, she bites pearl n greg bc Soft. loves audio stims! usually music but also likes to just hear other people talk and listen to how their voice sounds. probably flaps/claps/waves when she gets really excited!
