I now unironically like Aphex Swift and, as a result, have Taylor Swift songs in my head on the regular (because let’s be real, her vocals are the catchy part). I’m having a hipster identity crisis here. Christ. My favorite band is Swans, I’m not supposed to ‘get’ Taylor Swift. D=

I think I’m beginning to like this out of pure spite/contrariness. “Oh, this offends you as an Aphex Twin fan? I’m gonna listen the shit out of it. Deal with it!”

Mind, this isn’t me saying it’s not good. I just don’t like either of them. My taste in music is umm. No fun, basically. (”What, this song makes you want to dance instead of cut your wrists? Ughhh, I just can’t relate!”) I’ve grown out of having passionate negative feelings toward music unless it’s aggressively terrible, though. (I think ICP is the only act I put under that header.)

I’m super mature.
