I started crying about these two yesterday because they're just a pair of old men who's too stubborn to openly say they're married and in love - They have the kind of relationship where they'll feed birds in the park and stand and stare at a shop-window for 10 minutes without ever going inside - Also Édith Piaf's "Autumn Leaves"/"Les Feuille Mortes" is their ship theme song in my head

Things APH France Does #200

Loves others through words of affirmation, physical touch, and giving gifts (He likes to find a lot of little ways to love everyone and he caters to the individual to find deeper compliments (words of affirmation) to give them. He gives people flowers or gifts for many little occasions as well as the usual occasions, too, and he’s obviously a hugger and likes to kiss/cuddle the people he loves most)

Receiving love, he needs physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation from others (He needs a lot of physical support and non-sexual, intimate touching (just his face, arms, hips, back) especially in his worst moments or bad days. He likes to be around others, preferably one or two people at a time, and he likes to hear compliments or positive things about himself)

With Arthur, it’s a little different because he needs different ways to feel loved. Francis ends up doing a lot of acts of service for Arthur because Arthur doesn’t like the touching and getting gifts/compliments (he can be awkward about it). They just like to go out and do activities together, and Francis knows how loved Arthur feels when he (Francis) goes out of his way to cook or clean or leave little notes for Arthur in his work files or just make him a cup of tea at the beginning of a meeting.
