What on earth is Ivan's jury title and can I suggest "Ivan the Scarlet Menace" as it?

It also always bothered me that the jury isn't actually 9 members so I'm throwing Teony and Luka in there too lol (Because of their connections with Ivy and Katelyn in MS)

The Jury Of Nine, like any social workplace, has, of course, people that are closer to each other than with others.

This leads to my Katelyn, Jeffory & Ivan being more or less friends. Well. Or. Well. Katelyn and Ivan are both friends with Jeffory, which leads to them also being around each other. Their thing evolves like strangers with a common friend -> work acquaintances(aka they start interacting without Jeffory having to gentle talk them through it) -> Allies because they are weirdly enough each other's only source of comfort after Jeffory's supposed demise.

Technically, they would've ended up co-parents too for Abby. Well. They were for a few weeks before Katelyn went Phoenix Drop.............and then ended up stuck in the Irene Dimension.

Thankfully Ivan isn't left alone with a baby for long because in this timeline Jeffory IS alive and after a month or so from Zane's disappearance, Zianna frees him and he gets to say goodbye to Ivan in person and take his baby and well, originally live near the South Eastern Wolf Tribe, where Abby also meets Fenrir, and then eventually move to the Gal'ruk Region, till season two. Ivan does not join in because he has other plans that include Pikoro.

They both kinda try to reach Katelyn via letters, but the rumours of two of the Jurors going missing together with the High Priest spread, and eventually reach them...or well Ivan first anyway.

As said, this whole thing starts with those two befriending Jeffory first. In Ivan's case, they were forced in a small proximity when Ivan first joined the jury, which is what lead to a bond being created, even if it was a bit stained with jealousy, as tho they both climbed in ranks, in Ivan's perspective Jeffory had far more freedom than have(even if it wasn't true) due to Jeffory being captain of the navy, and so travelling more, while Ivan ended up stuck in the castle as he became Zane's personal warlock.

Now, Katelyn also ended up befriending this man at the start of her career as a juror. You may not know, as i don't remember mentioning it, but my Katelyn goes through a bit of a Mulan arc to say. Tho not because women weren't welcomed, but more because she wasn't supposed to be there, her father not wanting her to do something so dangerous. It was a disguise to not me recognised(Nicole would've loved some tips from her, unfortunately, they didn't speak back then...especially as Nicole been to O'Kasis only like once before running away) This led to her pretending to be a young man who came from a small village that got burnt down. And also go by her father's name, Erik. Jeffory was one of the jurors already and was supposed to help train and eventually elect a new member. He was one of the first people to accidentally find out about her identity, and he kept quiet out of respect. And then she also formed a one-sided crush on him, but nothing really came out of that as they became strictly platonic. And she was fine with that.

ANYWAY MY POINT WITH THESE THREE IS THAT. THAT. They sneak out of the castle on their free nights(aka rarely) and look at the sky in the back garden and talk about their lives before all this. They go to Ivan's study and shit talk the others even tho they swear they don't like to gossip. They very badly dance together in the ballroom every time a big party is upcoming.

i had jury of nine members in my notes but ig i lost them so </3 remade the list to share w peeps... probably temp names until i can do proper ✨ research ✨ (i'm not in my house rn and my set up is rough LOL).

listed in order of time served, from longest to shortest:

janus the silver death [eventually publicly executed in Tu'la early in Rose (aka, s1), marking zane's proper descent into madness.]

jeffory the golden heart [eventually publicly executed by zane in Atne'ty during Rose, marking the collapse of the jury and soon, o'khasis.]

ivy the spodumene scythe [eventually killed and eaten.]

lillian the sapphire scythe [eventually killed by katelyn in eirene's dimension.]

ivan the ruby judgement [fate unknown.]

kai the all-seeing eye [fate unknown.]

katelyn the fire fist [fate unknown.]

teony the amber scream [fate unknown.]

daniel the deafening bell [fate unknown.]

some headcanons :3

jurors probably don't include their real names in their official titles, but omm i'm not coming up with fakes yet LOL.

zane is considered the head of the jury but not an "actual" member. regardless, his "juror" name is "forge of the new world".

ivy, lillian, and ivan trained under janus; katelyn trained under jeffory; kai and daniel trained under ivy; teony trained under lillian.

magik is forbidden in atne'ty, but zane allows the jury to practice as they desire, so long as they're quiet it... hence why lillian, ivan, and teony end up developing skills in it.

ivy and lillian lived in an orphanage together after their respective villages had been razed at five years old. their close relationship is why they both share "scythe" in their jury names.

daniel's juror name is kinda making fun of him
