Clint stumbles through the empty halls of the tower, drink in hand, looking for a secluded place to call Laura.
The party was- is... It's still going- the party is great. Trust Stark to know how to throw a party.
Even Rogers was having a good time. A few of them were beginning to wonder if it was even possible. But their Captain let loose tonight and enjoyed the evening. Whatever that 'non-mortal' drink was that Thor brought from Asgard seemed to work wonders to dislodge that 20th-century stick from his ass. Rogers did know how to have fun after all.
He doesn't mind losing the bet to Natasha, especially since Stark lost too.
The party was a lot of fun, but he was missing Laura and wanted to hear her voice.
Clint turns a corner, heading to the living quarters of the tower.
He spots two people down the end of the hall, pressed up against a wall. Thor, he could make out, but his partner's face was hidden by Thor's large arm resting against the wall.
In Thor's free hand was a small, ornate silver box. "This is an aphrodisiac beyond the advancements of your mortal's science. Shall you like to partake?"
Thor's partner takes the box and opens it. Dipping a finger inside, then raising it to their obscured face.
Thor drops his arm to grab the other guy's hip, revealing the man to be their Captain.
Looks like he just won a different bet and will be collecting his money back from Natasha (to a net profit). He didn't expect Thor to be involved, though he doubts anyone did.
He certainly has a lot to tell Laura tonight. Clint moves on, leaving the two guys be.
Turns out Rogers was adjusting to the 23rd-century just fine.
