Nicobaster household!! I did a bit more for the Godswap AU nicobaster we had for rarepair week.

I did a sketchie of Aphrodite Nico. He has Drew as a reluctant older sister figure (she secretly love it tho.)

Nico has the habit of wearing intricate jewelry on his finger and twirling it in his hair to flirt and it gets stuck *facepalm* and he has to get Drew to help him untangle it

Nico: dreeeewwww helb it’s stuck 😢

Drew: so who were you twirling your hair for anyhow

Nico: oh~ you know that son of Themis whose suing all the Olympians?

There’s also Bianca (who is still a daughter of hades) who is convinced (correctly) that Nico is a reincarnation of her little brother and then she and Drew have a “he’s MY brother” war (hence the silly little sketch on the bottom by @thomas-life ) but don’t worry Nico just collects older sisters so…also Bianca doesn’t join the huntresses so she and Drew can bond over their mutual love of Nico (and then eachother). So there’s another rarepair for ya!

I also did some more Themis Al doing lawyer things!!

Nico, as the son of Aphrodite, had some suitors. It wasn't something as violent as when his mother had granted him that blessing where practically every boy who also liked boys in one way or another would fall in love with him.

Still, Nico only had eyes for one person. Hermes' son, Jason Grace. This had been the first man who had seen him as he really was. That he had seen Nico instead of Aphrodite's son.

so qornflower​ has a godswap au with pjo characters and I love it sm (I would die for Hephaestus!Will), and I was started thinking about how their lives would be different (I’m just talking about Nico for now). This isn’t a rant, per say, but it is a  lot of thoughts and just random ideas. This is just how I think the backstory, etc. would be.

So in the AU Nico is a son of Aphrodite, which I love a lot actually, and it’s established in TOA that children of same-sex gods can have kids. So Maria and Aphrodite could have kids, even if it wasn’t necessarily accepted in the ‘30s. Anyways, so Nico would grow up with Maria, Maria dies, same as canon. But when he’s claimed he realizes that he has two moms, instead of the majority of the campers that have a mom and a dad. 

A whole lot of Nico’s backstory, experiences, and character stem from him hating himself for liking men. However, would he feel this way if he knew he has two moms? I doubt it, but also, Maria dies. Does he think that she was killed for liking women? How different would his character be if he didn’t hate himself?

Again, these are just random thoughts and ideas about Aphrodite!Nico, its not canon for the godswap! Also please go check out qornflower, their art is amazing!
