Just began Mudborne!
I loved Apico so I began Mudborne today. So far so great. It's cozy. It has frogs.
Also the devs are super silly.

I am proof positive that when people do those Hot Takes (TM) about the popularity of farming video games meaning some desire to return to a petite-bourgeois agrarian fantasy, they need to calm down.... Because irl, I am the world's most dedicated city mouse, if I can't walk or take public transportation to everywhere I need to go and also at least 3 museums and 2 concert halls, I feel unmoored from life. I've been like this my entire life, even when I grew up in the suburbs, I yearned for the city and then got the fuck to one as soon as I could (almost exclusively applied to "urban" campuses for college, and did all three of my degrees in different major cities). And then my taste in video games is.... Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and now this Steam game I found called Apico which has a similar premise to Stardew Valley - in that you move to this small town to take over your grandparents' business - but it's focused on beekeeping instead of farming. I started playing this game like 3 days ago and I've already logged over 16 hours on it, help
This year's r/place really fucking sucked, terribly run and an obvious(failed) distraction, but we did get some nice stuff done
Another bench! 45 communities! Here's the fully planned piece, Quote sadly got added last minute and wasn't visible before blackout.
Full character list below the cut.
"perhaps you went overboard in the cozy indie beekeeping sim game Apico" perhaps i did. perhaps it's an expression of love
I am once again asking for more people to play Apico
Look at my base!!
Apico is a game about beekeeping! The goal is to save and also rediscover various bee species!
There's also some other game mechanics that involve restoring the coral reefs and whatnot, but those are newer and I haven't played with them... Yet..
I'm playing with a few mods, the furniture is from the Cottage Tea mod by Mushkins!
me playing apico: time to make the bees
me when the bees are done: ding bees are done
