if you really want to be famous on social media, here are some of the most important things to take into account

the natal chart of your instagram/tiktok/tumblr account has just as much sway in things as your natal chart as a whole… you want to make sure that the two have decent synastry to support the things you want to do/achieve with your social media account.
for example: if the ascendant for your tumblr blog is in your natal 8th house, but you’re not blogging about anything sexual, taboo, or witchy? that blog is so much more likely to bring you trauma or intense emotions that make you feel out of control. you’re probably going to grow to hate it…
this blogs ascendant is in what i believe to be (mom can only remember a 15 minute window that puts me at either 29º gemini or 0º cancer but i’ve done my best to rectify lmao) my natal 7th house, and i love this blog more than anything.
when looking at the planetary hours of my past posts, the two posts that have gotten 900+ likes (and brought me the most followers) were posted on tuesday during a mercury hour. mars (tuesday) is the 11th house ruler of this blog’s chart, and mercury is the 9th house ruler of this blog’s chart. this blog’s 10th house ruler and my natal 11th house is ruled by venus, but posting on venus days or venus hours have not yielded the same results for me.
if you want to go viral, you need your 11th AND 9th houses to be activated…
if your natal chart isn’t full of super great indications that you’ll be famous, you can still work with that by deciding what you want to be famous for, and starting a blog/insta on a date where that account’s nativity is astrologically inclined towards fame on that subject.
these two posts were shared on mercury days + venus hours:
the first one got 141 notes and the second got 270 notes. most of these notes came from likes, as both got 13/14 reblogs.
the chart for this blog has mercury in the 9th house and ruling the 9th house, while venus rules the 10th and 5th houses but sits in the 8th house.
this post got 500 notes:
it was posted on a moon day + saturn hour. the natal chart of this blog has it’s moon conjunct saturn in cancer and the 7th house. it also has saturn ruling it’s 1st and 2nd houses, sitting in it’s 3rd house of communication.
this post was shared on a jupiter day, at a jupiter hour, which is supposed to be great for growth and success, but in two weeks it’s only gotten 37 notes. how could that be?
well, for starters jupiter rules the 3rd and 12th houses of this blog’s natal chart, and while it is technically placed fortuitously in an angular house that does indicate growth and a gathering of the masses, it is not placed in a way that is connected to either of the fame or social media houses for this blog. . . it indicates growth through partnerships or relationships. . . consistently showing up. . . not my social media presence alone.
i set this blog up perfectly so that the fame sectors of it’s chart are the same as the creativity and communication sectors of my natal chart. this is ideal for a format like blogging where the communication is primarily written. now, when i use this blog to share something that i’ve written during a period of time where this blog’s 9th and 11th houses are being activated with my 3rd and 5th houses, i get an average of 1,000 notes. there are other layers to this, but i’m saving that discussion for astro school members. you already know that i have to save all the juiciest stuff for them so that i can justify charging enough to make a living in this economy lmao.
the 11th and 9th houses are the most important houses to activate for increased social media fame/growth
11th house is social media. 9th house is international growth.
traditionally 9th house has been international travel or travel outside of your homeland, and while that worked great for a euro-centric hellenic period, times have changed. humanity has evolved. international travel is incredibly easy these days, and with the growth of social media you often don’t even need to leave your house to do it. people from india and africa have bought readings from me even though i’ve never been to that part of the world or even seen their faces. i also don’t know if they’ve ever been to america or anywhere else. all i know is that they found me online and decided to book readings with me. that’s the magic of the 9th and 11th houses combined.
this post was shared on a sun day, and a moon hour:
it got 324 likes and 28 reblogs, or 352 notes total.
this is similar to the post shared directly above, where the moon is activated through it’s conjunction to jupiter in a way that brings growth and “fame”, but it doesn’t touch the social media house of this blogs nativity, so the growth and fame are muted in some ways. while it didn’t go viral, it did bring me a new client. the sun is in this blog’s 9th house, which also indicates international growth, but again, where the 11th house wasn’t also activated that growth wasn’t as noticeable as it is when both the 11th and 9th houses are activated.
webb, apollo, and fama asteroids are also important points to look at when it comes to social media fame.
webb shows what you go viral for, how viral you go online, as well as your online presence/aesthetic, and other’s perception of you based on your online presence.
fama also shows what you get famous for, and how famous you get. while webb asteroid is specific to online spaces and methods, fama is much more general—it mainly indicates public attention in general. this asteroid also shows rumors, gossip, and how those who know of you but don’t know you personally are most likely to perceive you.
apollo shows what others worship you for, how/why they obsess over you, and how intense or prevelent their admiration of you is. just like with the god apollo, the brightness of their love could be a good thing for you, or it could burn so bright it burns your skin and kills your crops. . . so (as with everything else in the world and astrology) you do have to be aware of the double edged sword with this one.
when i was making this blog i originally wanted to be a tarot reader who mainly did readings on celebrities and people’s love lives, i also wanted everything to be primarily written. this blog has webb in libra and it’s 10th house ruled by venus in the 8th. apollo in leo and the 8th house ruled by the sun in the 9th. and fama in gemini and the 6th house ruled by mercury in the 9th. 6th house and gemini help me be known for my words and storytelling, 8th house ties themes of the occult into things, and webb/libra in the 10th house influence the overall aesthetic of being fame, love, and beauty focused. while i have shifted to being an astrology blog, and instead of talking about celebrities i’m using them as tools to teach others how to gain fame through astrology, or understand their natal chart’s better, all these things do still apply.
