smth we think about sometimes and feel strongly abt: fictives of ur work can and will happen no matter how niche it is. u cannot stop it nor do u get a say in it. the fictives dont even get a say in it most of the time. u must become comfortable with this idea, or at least be prepared 2 mind ur business

So a couple of days ago me and Arc decided to switch the game language over to Spanish to see what we could find (I'm Mexican) and well, it's a decent translation, but I do believe that there are things that could have been done better. (I mean this in the nicest way possible, but in some parts it does feel like they just ran it through Google translate)

So! I'll focus on the Conductor cuz boy the liberties they do take with him in this transition are like so funny to me.

There are two instances that come to mind (and that Arc took screenshots of)

The first one is in Murder in the owl Express where he normally says in the og dub "Oh, you're giving me the silent treatment, eh?" But in Spanish he says this:

One thing I noticed about this translation is that the Conductor speaks a lot in diminutive (saying things like "muchachita", "cosilla", etc)

In this case it comes with the context of him being snarky and fed up about him not receiving an answer (direct translation would have been something along the lines of "Me estás dando el tratamiento silencioso, eh?". So I really like the translation's choice of words here, it's gives him a lot more personality :P) He sounds like a parent who caught you in a lie and won't rest until you admit your fault. (I speak from experience)

Second instance I can think of is in Award Ceremony when the Conductor wins, where he says "I don't want to see yer ugly mug again", but in the Spanish translation it comes off even more mean and it's like so funny to me:

So for context, "hocico" is just a more blunt way of saying mouth, with "cállate el hocico" being a much more rude way of saying "shut your mouth"

So he's pretty much just saying the same thing as in english here but the wording just does it for me, I hate him.

I do eventually wanna at least go over Chapter 2 and try my hand at translating it, plus give a bit more personality to Connie and Grooves' dialogue cuz i feel like there is so much more than could be done, do you have any idea how many makeshift insults we latines have? It's perfect for him.
