About hamlet I don't understand where people get the whole Oedipus thing. He is more focused on the dad imo, with his mom it just seems like he feels entitled to control over her sexuality but he feels that for every woman we see him interact with

right?? like hamlet’s awful towards women but that doesn’t mean he has an oedipus complex

just do what you can to take care of yourself. you could also make a side blog that is like just for calming safe space stuff and use this one when you feel more interact-y

that wouldn’t change the content of my dashboard much though.. I’d have to make a completely separate account and that’d just make me feel even more like I’m just burying my head in the sand and ugh. Idk. I’ll just do a bit of unfollowing and see if it calms things down.

You could try sending them a message? Idk if that would be too uncomfortable for you, I have sent a couple mutuals messages when I had to unfollow when it was too much and no one has ever gotten upset

It’d kinda feel like I was making excuses if I did that. Sort of “it’s not you it’s me” stuff. But yeah.. You’re right, it’s my blog, I can choose what’s on my dash regardless of whether it includes my friends’ blogs or not.

Yeah... Idk I guess tumblr has kind of become my facebook so I’m scared people will consider me unfollowing them as unfriending even though it’s not the case at all.
