nahh i think the majority of these cases are just attraction/intrigue at first sight wherein the people just happen to be compatible (and then as the relationship deepens the person convinces themselves they knew all along despite the fact that it was the same initial attraction they’d felt with 200 other people they didn’t end up with). that being said i’m actually kind of a romantic and i totally eat the whole “fall in love and stay together forever” shit up. i just don’t buy love at first sight
