Was talking about the ORV live action with one of my friends, and came to a realization. (Now remember, I am a surface level fan that liked the manwhua, read some fics, and drew like one drawing, so take that how you will)

But! Tell me why the live Action Yoo Jonghyuk just seems like if Kim Dokja created a romantic play of him and his bf but Yoo Jonghyuk refused to have anything to do with it so Kim Dokja decided to dress up as him and play him as ooc as possible to piss him off. Like- straight hair? Kim Dokja refused to curl his own. The gun? Why not! It's easier then trying to fuck with a sword and make it look majestic.

Spoiler, it worked, Yoo Jongyhuk is in fact annoyed.

I never actually watched Shaman King growing up so i had to google it and i guess i kind of see it?

However you're totally right in the sense that my art style definitely was heavily influenced by anime!

Dragonball Z, Naruto and Trigun especially had a hold on my soul in middle school.

Anyways while looking at the Shaman king characters online I found a character that looked so early 2000's anime edgy that I just had to draw him :

When Yeza first met Caleb Widogast, he had thought the man was nervous and slightly standoffish. The first time he saw Veth and Caleb alone, without realizing they had his attention, he realized that it was just Caleb around him.

Around Veth, and his other friends to a lesser extent, Caleb came alive with a playful and mischievous nature that reminded Yeza of Luc. It made sense then that Luc adored Caleb and hung off his every word. 

Magic became the topic of the house for days after Uncle Caleb had stopped by, and in the days leading up to visits, Luc planned out entirely too many adventures for Caleb's short stays. 

It was an odd realization, the first time Yeza noticed it, that Caleb held a very similar place in the hearts of his wife and child that Yeza himself held.

Where once Luc trailed at Yeza's back begging to help in the apothecary shop, he now tugged at Caleb's coat pleading for spells. Where once Yeza could confidently say he knew every corner of Veth's heart and mind, he now knew there were places only Caleb could touch.

It bothered him more how little it bothered him at all.

It would be easy, if not truly in his nature, to hate Caleb for all the attention his family gave the man, if not for one simple fact: when Luc looked to Caleb with stars in his eyes or Veth flirted just a bit too obviously, Caleb looked to Yeza.

It was only now when Caleb's eyes, bright blue, slightly sleepy and questioning, turned on him again as Veth and Luc slept soundly at his side, that Yeza realized why.

His gaze sought permission and approval. Is this okay? Have I crossed a line? Can I stay? Will you join?

To say Yeza had never given much thought to Caleb and Veth's relationship was a lie. He knew Caleb was as vital to his wife as Yeza and Luc were. It was a fact Yeza had accepted even if he didn't fully understand it.

To say Yeza had never given much thought to Caleb and his relationship would be a truth he might just need to rectify as Caleb's questioning gaze continued, and Yeza had no real answer. What Yeza did know was that Caleb was a kind man, at least to the Brenatto family, and he was just as loved by its members as he loved them. 

It would have to be enough for tonight. 

Yeza blew out the candle in the lounge room and tiptoed to Caleb's side, that gaze following his every step. Yeza pushed up on tiptoes to press a kiss to Caleb's cheek and whisper in his ear. "I'm going to sleep in an actual bed. Enjoy your back pain."

Caleb gasped, then stifled his laugh so as not to wake the two halflings using him as a pillow. "It is not so great a trial when it's them," Caleb replied.

"Repeat that to me in the morning," Yeza challenged, his grin fading slightly as he took in Caleb's shadowed but hopeful features. "Then we can talk about what you've been trying to ask me. I think I'm finally ready to hear it."
