Would you help me with my data input?
Back in the early 2000s, I turned my dead Macintosh SE computer, which had been collecting dust in the basement for a decade, into a Macquarium—a homemade aquarium inside the shell of an old one-piece Mac. I had it set up at work and it was a lot of fun; everyday, the entire office would stop by to say hi to the current fish, usually a Betta named Beta V1, V2, etc. It took a lot of effort though—cleaning and doing water replacement in the middle of a work environment was always a messy, awkward affair. Eventually our office moved and I used that as a good excuse to bring the Macquarium to an end…and it returned to collect more dust in the basement. Now my old Mac has been reinvented again, this time as a Macterrarium, which I don’t think is a thing (yet). The aquarium has been filled with low-maintenance plants, retrofitted with LED lights since it’s dark in there, and will live in my beloved’s new office. Not sure it will work, but we’ll give it a try. It was fun to pull the old Mac off the shelf and check it out again—if you look closely inside the shell, signatures of the entire Mac development team are in the molding, including Steve Jobs.
UPDATE: She's now had the Macterrarium for about nine months in her office and it's been a hit. Only one plant died; the rest have thrived inside the computer, and apparently it's been a great conversational icebreaker for people nervous that they're visiting the boss's office).
APPLE-INSPIRED CAMERA IS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN DSLR CAMERAS AND SMARTPHONES
Ever desired greater than a smartphone digital camera. But less than an advanced digital camera? This conceptual Apple-inspired camera perfectly fits that gap! DSLR cameras can be daunting in case you are just starting out but in case you need to examine beyond the easy point-and-shoot then this camera is the ideal stepping stone into your visual artwork journey. Get those expert shots while not having to have a look at the guide and watch several YouTube videos, the iCamera targets at breaking down the complexity of increase cameras to make people comfortable with the concept of shooting with a machine that isn't their cellphone. “It increases your capability and without difficulty leads you to the world of cameras,” says the fashion designer about the gap he wants to bridge with this concept design. The dressmaker wanted to simplify the existing superior cameras’ user experience by using making the body more compact and lighter. The bulk of the lens is reduced but it still includes the revolving functionality to zoom. However, now you may do it comfortably with only a finger. It also targets to make shifting your files less complicated thru cloud-based technologies – that one tedious task each photographer hates to do however has to do. So say good-bye to HD cards, putting in Bluetooth, and retaining a song of multiple accessories that one typically needs to transfer. It costs wirelessly and has a on hand flash that attaches magnetically to the body! Apple, Samsung, Nikon and Canon are the biggest smartphone and camera brands. But this Apple-inspired camera is like a bridge inbetween these two products.
The concept revolves round letting you control the whole lot with one hand. The ergonomic shape and intuitive design make the method of creativity drift smoothly. The iCamera was anticipated with the modern day era like triple lenses (wide + normal + zoom). Fantastically calibrated sensors so that you don’t should depend on wearing additional lenses. It also features WiFi connectivity and eSim so you can percentage your recollections from anyplace you are. I love the concept of the iCamera. It is the proper gateway into superior pictures and the right solution for organizations. Which have creative necessities which may be met without buying unnecessary equipment. This digital camera is largely Goldilock’s ideal mid-variety choice! Read the full article
