What Is Meta Going To Do?

So first of all, I will talk about the information released about meta/metaverse during it's release. Before release event Mark Zuckerberg announced a rename event for Facebook Company as a whole. Like Facebook is a parent company for many applications like Instagram, WhatsApp and all so, they decided to change the name of the parent company and Facebook will be same as itself including the application's name too. So they accepted names from the public suggestions but when the event came out it was all changed. He announced an entirely different concept from rumours said. So let's see how it all went in detail.

As we all know, before so many years when Facebook was established they only had one product named Facebook as a Social Media Platform which some of the people still use. As time passed they bought Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger. So at present we know that there are lots of companies under Facebook. Yeah and one more and most important one (going to be) - Oculus Go. Oculus Go does research in AR and VR and they do have some gadgets for these. As we all know the things VR glasses and other supporting gadgets do. They create an atmosphere where we can live in another world or a game whatever, we can do all stuff but actually not doing it. Coming back to point, what Mark wanted to create with the help of Oculus Go is creating an AR world with the help VR for every one like a game. In a sense we can make our life as game. Ofcourse there so many difference with the real world and the virtual word but we can do all the things that we wanted to do in real world and ofcourse they do have limitations too. And in this world there will be more people than us like friends in Facebook and this virtual will be like world for them or a social media platform. Where we can chat with others without typing, touch and feel, play together at real time and more. And this shared Reality World is called Meta Verse.

As we all know after the pandemic breakdown we couldn't get back to our friends and family without social media platforms. The most recent way expressing our feelings through chat or anything is emojis or gifs. What about next level of it? Yeah in meta verse we can go and talk with our friends in different places or yeah whatever we wanted to but actually not being there. That real time experience is priceless.

OTT platforms too grown up a lot during these times, therefore met verse do have some takes on this. The only disadvantage of OTT is lack of theatre experience with friends and family. So ofcourse we have meta verse by bringing virtual theatre and sonic experience with friends and all.

Many companies have switched their work flow to work from home and associated things. Ofcourse there are online meetings as well as classes too. But this all can be done in one virtual room at the same time with real time experiences including sharing files and all. This also helps MNC employees to meet and work. All the presentations and all can be done through 3D renders and hologram too.

Shopping

Yeah just making online shopping experience to next level. Now we can got to virtual shops and checkout the product and its quality and all and place order. The order will be delivered to our real home. And we can but grocery items and all from home instead of going out with same experience that we wanted from outdoor.

Haptic Gloves That Let You 'Feel' Virtual Objects

After changing the parent company's name to Meta, CEO Mark Zuckerberg is pushing the development of immersive technology in the form of AR/VR glasses and now... gloves with haptic feedback. The new Metaverse-ready gloves by Meta will let you feel sensations of virtual objects as if they were manifesting physically. The tangibility of all-things-virtual will become a reality. Using air pockets, the haptic glove will let users feel the sensations of holding a  virtual object or touching a surface, for starters. Developed by Meta's Reality Labs research division, the glove is fitted with 15 plastic pads called "actuators," The Verge reported.
