Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground cloves. 2 large eggs. 1 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1/4 cup buttermilk. 2 tbsp melted butter. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup diced apples peeled and cored. Oil for frying. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
